Great technique and an absolutely magical left foot. Apparently the ACL injury in 2019 robbed him of his burst and pace (happened at FedEx Field in a preseason game in America of all places…notoriously bad turf that has caused a multitude of injuries in NFL…terrible luck) and he’s been kind of a bench player since. Don’t see any reason why he couldn’t be a fantastic starter for a team other than Madrid.

I’m not sure if this means Sir Jim is the new owner or if it’s Althani. I think it does mean that United are offloading guys who would be classified as homegrown and I’m just happy that United look to have landed a top target for Ten Hag pretty quickly

It sounds like 250k p/w is the wage. It’s still a lot to give, but United also plunked 350k+ in front of Sancho and tried to get Pogba to sign for 400k+, so I’ll take this as a small win in that realm

You can obv do a lot worse and get a lot less time if you steal from the public rather than the PL and i'm sure some palms were greased to get that sentence but not exactly surprising. They'd have been better off making friends with a tory MP and getting a contract to make PPE.
