Trying to remember how it went before

30 points for correct outcome and scoreline
20 points for correct prediction of a draw but incorrect score (eg you predicted City 1-1 Arsenal and the score was City 2-2 Arsenal)
15 points for correct result but wrong scoreline by 1 (eg you predicted City 2-1 Arsenal and the score was City 3-2 Arsenal)
10 points for correct score but wrong scoreline by >1 (eg you predicted City 2-1 Arsenal and the score was City 3-0 Arsenal)
-10 points for wrong result

Then there was 1 banker and 1 insurance you could use each gameweek, banker doubled the points (even on a loss) and insurance is for tough matches hard to predict, if the prediction loses you get 0 points instead of -10

Kind of feel this way about Nunez tbh. Paying 90mil for a guy with a clumsy looking touch who had 50th percentile xg in the Portuguese league but somehow scored at 2x xg for a season seems like an awful idea, but any big forward who the plop fullbacks can bounce balls into the net off of will probably end up looking alright.

Man this Jesus lovefest has some serious langer potential.

Jesus is a weird one for me. He was absolutely not good enough for City. I was always very happy to see him in their starting XI's. At the same he is a massive upgrade for Arsenal who've been inept in that position since exiling Auba, and there weren't many clear available upgrades to them, so Arse did as well as they possibly could here.

City Plop Chelsea in that order for top 3 seems like a lock. I wish I had the faith of people dropping them way down. Think Spurs are favourites for 4th but mebbe Utd can get there if they get rid of Ronaldo

He's been really, really good in preseason. Clear best player on the pitch whenever he's out there. I don't think that means much, or that he will get 20+ goals, but if he is Arsenal's clear best player, he will have a good year.

I think Arsenal have 3 players good enough to start for any club in the world, and if they did, that team could still win the CL. That doesn't mean they are as good as the players currently doing so, but they're around that level. I would put Jesus, Partey and Saka there.

Now, I think Arsenal's season (obv anything can happen, injuries etc) is *mostly* going to come down to how good Martinelli and Saliba are. They look incredible in preseason as well. Saliba is just immense physically. Gabriel and White were good last season. I think on talent, our best CB pairing in almost 20 years. If Saliba is *even better* than both of them, that's really good for us. Now, he's like 21 and about to play his first PL season. It's a big ask. But he was YPOTY in France last year, played like 3600 minutes and was one of the best CB in Ligue 1.

Martinelli pops out every match watching him. If he goes from 6g/6a to 12g/5a or something, that's just huge for Arsenal. He had 9 xG in 1800 minutes last year, if he gets ~2500 minutes that's ~12 xG without any improvement.

And that's the difference for fighting for 3rd and 5th or 6th again imo.
