Newcastle absolutely dominated us last night.
We are not just losing games, we are being crushed from the first minute.
You just don't have a good midfield without Kante. After the preseason game vs Arsenal I knew Chelsea were in real trouble. A week before the season, both teams using their first xi and the match was how the last two went except arsenal finished everything so it was 4-0.
Chelsea got pressed to death and had no answer. They have no answer to a press and no consistent source of goals.
Like I guess you could run Puli/sterling on the wings as outlets and play it long more in these games? But then they have to beat a man, deliver a final ball and have someone put it in? Just hard to see where the goals come from.
