While I agree with this, there is also a chance that both sets of lawyers roughly agree that United have a case for gross misconduct and allowing him the "mutual consent" exit route saves a bit of face for him with no £££.

For some reason the big derby game in Melbourne fans throw flares and hit a keeper with a flare. Game suspended.

Idiot ultras were throwing flares on the pitch during the Melbourne derby last night, one of the keepers accidentally threw one back too far and into the stands. Ultras storm the pitch, hit the keeper and the referee, match abandoned. Combined with a seemingly corrupt process of awarding the grand final each year to Sydney rather than the team with the higher finish.

So all goodwill and positivity from the Aussies great World Cup run is basically gone
