Why in gods name is Barcelona-Man United a "play off", of which the winner gets to play in the KO part of the great Europa League with Union Saint-Gilloise and Feyenoord?

Since when does football have a mid season bye? Is that the only way to make numerical sense of the shitshow tournaments they created?

i like that winning your el group matters a lot. and that the loser cl teams dont get an easy ride

I agree but surely there are other advantages than playing noone. I can only assume there arent enough medium **** teams to fill the EL now that they also have the ConfL.

Martinelli called up for Brasil wc squad. Very happy for him and well deserved. I don't think he gets a ton of minutes, but getting called up has to feel great so a pretty good scenario all things considered. Holy **** are they stacked with attackers tho.

Ziyech exudes talent in just the way he runs, its obvious he is quality, what is also obvious is he does not give even a single ****.
