The cut back of friendlies was by design. It came when they introduced the nations league. Regardless, international football sucks outside of tourneys, I think we can all agree on that.

I meant the 3 qualifiers in one international break wasn't by design. They're packing them in because they have less time due to the Euros delay.

Not sure why all the interest stopped for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic after initial hype?

He seems to be an integral part of this Serbia midfield, winning duels, barely a misplaced pass, just scored with a near post run against Ireland.

Vlahovic looks like a striker too. Him, SMS and Tadic look the brightest spots.

Its just surprising a little bit. Maybe he is not all there workrate-wise or there are some sinsiter ubderlying stats, but he seems more than capable to do damage.

Could also be that I have my Xhaka-Elneny glasses on so he seems like someone who would get into our mf without breaking a sweat - also only 26

I'm guessing Lazio's absurd valuation of him has something to do with him still being there. He used to always be mentioned as a possible Pogba replacement but I've not heard that one in a while.

I was wondering what clean sheets have to do with SMS performance levels as a mainly attacking minded midfielder, now it makes more sense.

Like I have to admit that I know **** all about the Serie A and how players perform. I know he and Ciro are the leaders in SS Nazio's team and kind of hoping that he'll land in the EPL even if it is not at a top club.

Poor SSL is permabroken, germany is just toying with us, creating at will and he still can't score. Missed three ccc's, one of them an open goal from like 5m out, and passed up another for a hopeless backheel pass.

Walker is by miles the most tilting, he cant cross the ball and picks terrible positions on the over lap, he has been doing this for years.

Sure he has pace, so use him when we need to counter pace, if we are trying to break teams down play basically anyone else.

It’s not the double pivot that’s the problem, it’s the constant short passing between 3 players on the left side of the opposition box whilst waiting for the number 9 to actually get in the ****ing box. Something that will once again be ignored because he scored a nice goal, from outside the box.
