Watkins maybe injured. Buendia hasn't played last 2 preseason games, no idea when he's back. Bailey no idea when he's joining the squad. Luiz just finished at Olympics. Traore been injured and only just come back.
Going to be a **** start to the season. Preseason all over the place.
I think there was some Mickey mouse gold cup he took part in. So he's still got to have time off.
The pro move from him is to rock up in a couple of weeks time, two stone overweight and with either COVID or an unspecified STD that he picked up whilst letting his hair down.

If Chelsea do end up with Lukaku + a core that is mostly improving anyway, I think they can challenge for the title sadly. With KdB entering the season not 100% and injury prone, City could struggle somewhat even with Foads and Grealish. Not having a striker also sucks. Caveat being if they get Kane, in which case I predict they will drop to 5th.
On Liverpool not top 4 - aging core, uncertainty on how VvD is coming back, would be really funny. Enough said.
Pep appears to have had enough of him. Maybe he will change his mind, or maybe having no viable alternative besides a false 9 every single game will force Pep's hand. Fair point though.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Ferran Torres playing the false 9 role for most of the season.
His goals per minute rate was rather jolly good last season. 7 goals and 4 assists in 1297 minutes on the pitch
No clue how it fits with the rest of their team but I hope Chelsea play two real strikers with Lukaku and Werner. Could be super fun to watch and stashing Werner on the wing is stupid anyway

This lad (as you guys like to say) may want to make a wager, he was in a huff about someone suggesting Liverpool not making Top 4
