I'm glad that it is not them making the call on the transfers.

Marseille just posted a goodbye message to Saliba. Damn from the videos and stats posted he was immense last year, much better than any of our defensive players. Of course it is France, but still - really glad we are not looking to sell him after a season like that. I'm sure many clubs would gladly take him.

Don't think Ronaldo ever really wanted to join and not sure United really wanted him either, it was mostly fan based pressure that both parties succumbed to after it looked like he was going to city.

Funny thing is he'd probably have been good at city whereas United couldn't afford another passenger in defence.

I bet he thought they’d be challenging. Sancho/Rape/Varane looked like a scary summer on paper. I admit I did not see them finishing outside T4 under any circumstances.

I just can't see a world where Rolando's football knowledge is that inept he thought this team were serious title contenders. I could see an argument where he thought he could add to the team and give the an outside chance but I think its more likely he thought they were guaranteed top 4 and would build for a title challenge this year which is the main reason he wants to leave , well outside of no champions league football.
