Spurs also apparently in for Diaz. Looks a decent enough player on youtube, but spending £50m on a player who plays in the same position as Son does not seem optimal.

Jacked Aaron deal is a weird one. Loan with an option to buy seems risky from Wolves PoV. Most likely outcome is he'll be average for Barca, they will not execute at £30m and Wolves with then be stuck with a player who can sign a pre-contract in <6 months.

There were rumblings months ago Pool was basically deciding between Diaz and Raphinha for their next attacking signing. Would be smart for Spurs to go all in on Raphinha imo, so I hope they don't.

I agree, Raphinha would be a much better fit for Spurs as he can play the opposite side to Son.

However, I'd still rather see us strengthen other areas first. £50m goes a long way towards getting a decent CB and CM in the current market.
