Yes, and I maintain more luck than judgement and a huge sample size issue. We were *bad*. We gave up so many ****ing chances it's insane. It just isn't sustainable.

I know xG is by no means the be all and end all but you just have to look at the xG table to show how hot we ran. Sure you can claim "better goalkeeper better finishers" but it's SO off that it's obviously significant.

Not saying it's a bad signing btw just that I'd bet heavily against his attacking numbers repeating at Spurs in a back 4.
we have been playing with a similar formation to wolves under mou eventhough on paper it has been a 4-2-3-1. aurier playing in a more attacking role than davies. i assume thats what mou has asked aurier to do and its not because serge just doesnt give a **** about defending.

eventhough aurier was quite good after restart i believe doherty is going to be much better. auriers attacking numbers are awful (1g 7a) compared to how often he gets the ball in a good position. his crosses are awful and he cant use his left-foot. usually he just squares the ball back to a cm. aurier is afraid to try to dribble past players. when he tries its in a terrible position like in our own half and not around the opponents box.

pretty sure i dont even have to say how awful auriers defending is.

Sky have also now ditched Goals On Sunday, The Debate and the Sunday Supplement
Scott Minto has also not had his contract renewed.

I can kind of understand binning Goals on Sunday, it served a purpose before everyone could get extended highlights of what you want to see before you'd normally have picked up the Pink/Green'un on a Saturday evening, seems redundant now

This kind of shake up might be good in the long run. All stations seem to have old ex pros who just seem to always be there even if they are long past their sell by date. Sky have plenty of decent pundits and those who left had outlived their purpose, end of story.

There’s also still talk of the 3pm blackout being ditched for the new season. That would make Soccer Saturday redundant.

I've got to assume that is a direct reaction to coronacold, when everyone can go to games again it'll be a different story (although ironically the games that the 3pm rule was brought in to protect are probably the ones that will get the most gate receipts in the near future in terms of percentage of normal anyway)

According to reports in the media, they are going to be doing it all season.

All the talk this year was about Allisson and Edersoj, but Lloris might have been the best gk in the league. Spurs are in trouble imo.

Sky dropping shows and presenters is cost-cutting and I think they are in trouble relatively speaking.

I deal with them at work and their B2B service has fallen off a cliff since March.

A question to those who are watching the Championship regularly.

What can we expect from the newcomers? Leeds looked really solid when they played at the Emirates and played quite good football. Bielsa will probably probably be amongst the top2 most entertaining managers. That is all.

Dont know much about WBA and current Fulham tho. Will they go straight back like norwich or will it be a huge dogfight this year?

West Brom are going to be rubbish and relegated with ease.

Fulham will be pretty much as they were last time. The Mitrovic goals won’t be enough. Just as it was with Norwich and Pukki.
WBA and Leeds didn’t rely on a single goal scorer and that normally pays dividends for a promoted club.
