Not saying it's a bad signing btw just that I'd bet heavily against his attacking numbers repeating at Spurs in a back 4.
we have been playing with a similar formation to wolves under mou eventhough on paper it has been a 4-2-3-1. aurier playing in a more attacking role than davies. i assume thats what mou has asked aurier to do and its not because serge just doesnt give a **** about defending.
eventhough aurier was quite good after restart i believe doherty is going to be much better. auriers attacking numbers are awful (1g 7a) compared to how often he gets the ball in a good position. his crosses are awful and he cant use his left-foot. usually he just squares the ball back to a cm. aurier is afraid to try to dribble past players. when he tries its in a terrible position like in our own half and not around the opponents box.
pretty sure i dont even have to say how awful auriers defending is.
