Anything is a step up from liquorice. Even pork served several ways.

Wait, you freaks don't like liquorice in general? I thought you were just talking about some specific dutch type so was going to let it slide.

Not surprised by the meal choices. It’s a bunch of insulated rich kids who are served by their own personal chefs or get handpicked food at the training facility. Nothing against them…they probably just don’t have much of an opportunity to learn any of the finer details about dining. It’s mostly just fuel to them anyway I’d think.

And JFC at that Tweet…what the hell is wrong with Italian clubs and Italy in general. JFC.

Between the 'Normal bread' (which is great), medium steaks and cheese are we not going to talk about Pereira eating a ****ing skink? To a lesser extent shout out to slabhead's ham hock

It is rancid. The idea that you **** toffee up by polluting it with that horrible, salty jizz is simply absurd.

If you had to bet on who went for ham hock it would definitely have been him.

You'd love icelandic candy then, we find a way to put liquorice in everything.

Try "cullen skink". It's actually really good when made right.

Conspicuous by their absence in Thursday’s training photos…

No Allan Saint-Maximin. Said to be suffering from an ‘illness’, ASM hasn’t featured since the second friendly at Doncaster and with his ongoing absence, is set to make it four friendlies missed in a row when Newcastle take on Norwich tomorrow. A player who relies so much on pace and energy, as well as trickery, it is now surely all but certain ASM won’t be starting against West Ham in nine days time.

Callum Wilson a very similar story. Steve Bruce had been keen to play down his hamstring injury as a minor one but yet again absent from training yesterday and having missed the last two friendlies, the striker will make it three missed in a row with the Norwich one. Meaning surely he will also be missing from the team that faces West Ham. Even if making rapid progress next week in training, far too big a risk to throw Callum Wilson straight in after such an interrupted pre-season preparation, especially with the countless hamstring injuries the striker has had in the past.

WHU 5/4 to win away on first day. They probably will win but not value for me. Newcastle fan fora are sour as **** already. It will be completely toxic up there if they start losing with no investment lol.

He’s 19, so I think he can be slightly forgiven. Now, if he’s doing this as he gets older and when he’s done with football, then we can shake him.

VdB+Bruno+Mata seemed to be on top of it. I’d assume Mata kinda knows what he’s doing as his dad’s restaurant was pretty good when I went there.

I’m totally an outlier as a lot of ‘Muricans seem to like licorice even less than the Brit posters here, but I utterly love it. Getting stoned and housing a package of licorice happens on more than the odd occasion

That’s the only bit in Liquorice Allsorts that’s not liquorice, it’s aniseed jelly.

I'm a full two minutes into Bournemouth vs WBA and West Brom look like a lot of fun, they seem to do lots of running and pressing and not be afraid to punt it up field, none of your tika taka bollocks.
