Brentford finishing last can't be that hot of a take can it

That was a hard read. I'm guessing the writer is fairly new to football. A good preview it was most certainly not.

And you are coached by Bielsa who has a lifespan at every club he’s at. Not saying the bottom will fall out and Leeds will be relegated, but I don’t see a team that can crack into the European spots. With Bielsa’s history, 15th is as likely as 7th

Better question
Will anyone admit to being a Leeds fan?

No one with any history writing about football or even watching it should start a preview of a team with the sentence "x team are a small club."

They did that for Leicester. You can say something about Leicester overeachieving recently vs their revenue or international fan base, but just stating they are a small club with basically no follow up is brutal.

You can find him yourself if you want

By “good”, I don’t mean I think his picks are great or super hot takes as others put it

Just figured some people may want to read it as it’s early and maybe not much out there yet

My bad

I presume it was more literal in its meaning.
Lots of people had heard about us being a Premier League club but few had actually seen it.

Bit strange for someone to mention Bielsa’s longevity seeing as this is already the longest he’s been at a club and is already on for this season.

How is it strange? And how would that make any of what I said irrelevant? I don’t see you getting in a relegation scrap, but Bielsa’s longevity at clubs is a decades long trend.

Even without Grealish, the Lions are going to safely remain in the Premier League behind a balanced and entertaining squad, the likes of which have not been seen in Villa Park for quite some time.
I honestly have never heard anyone call Villa this before.

I always thought Millwall were 'The Lions'. Never heard of it used for Villa either.

Compared to the, uh, interesting review: posted earlier statsbomb is about halfway through their excellent ones.

A decades long trend that he has already broken. He would have to leave tomorrow to make it a continuation of the trend. Pep could leave next week and he wouldn't take the Man City job. He and his wife have redesigned Thorpe Arch and will have a say in the extension of Elland Road. He's finally found his project club.

You know statsbomb literally has a working partnership with about half the teams in the league?
