Liverpool owner John W Henry has apologised to the club's supporters for the "disruption" caused by the proposed European Super League (ESL).

Henry took sole responsibility for the "unnecessary negativity", saying: "In this endeavour I've let you down."

This soton lineup looks like crap to me. All attack and no defense which is interesting to say the least. Hopefully Mason leads us to victory. My only fear is that we are so good we give him the job permanently.

We will 100% gift you back into this but you're playing really badly.

One man team struggling without the one man? Shocker.

It is a shame about his knees as Ings is a fine player.

At least we'll be spared from the change of manager effect this time

Narratives would have been crazy if spurs had won convincingl

is that why he's fallen off a cliff this year? at times he was one of the most underrated strikers in the league last year but this year hasn't been consistent

was right up there with antonio and wood as guys who were very good despite their teams being bad in my own model

Yeah, his numbers and performances have been fine when he's played. Just difficult to keep him on the pitch.

makes sense, just pull data and crunch it and since i do every sport don't really have much time to research the narratives behind it

this is especially in soccer as I'm very culturally removed from it all and don't have the time to digest it, especially since it's the least amount of money on the line of all the mainstream dfs options

it can also feel so arbitrary as i just know if they are officially out or not and won't get to know if he's out of the rotation due to not being 100%, being rested or in the doghouse, i really tried maybe 2-3 years ago to dive deep but i never felt like i was getting any good info so stopped doing it - watching it more than ever though and finally developed some emotional ties where i can actually care who win

like today, in the past i'd have spent 2 hours trying to figure out what exactly is going on with sterling and aguero but today i don't care nor know why they aren't playing, i just look at the lineup and move on - very heavy on foden/mahrez/jesus/walker/ederson today

Yes I can. It’s stupid when someone in an offside position causes a goal to be disallowed when they had no impact on the play whatsoever. Perhaps your opinion is different but that is mine.

Think that gets called most times. Jumps over the ball and even if it wouldnt have been saved he is clearly obstructing the keeper's view.

Starting to judge if it was savable or not just opens up a whole new can of worms

Weird end to this game. I preferred when it was just both teams throwing haymakers and leaving themselves open at the back.
