i think united lack 1 or 2 real world class players more than they lack depth but if the aim is only top 4 and not much more then they seem fine

i also thought the midfield was pretty bad basically every game i watched after brighton. sevilla was probably actually the best of them

We should get top 4 but unless our limp dick owners put their hands in their pockets we are not close to challenging City or Pool. Every day the papers say we are on the verge of getting Sancho but i will believe it when i see it. Oh and a new out and out striker please.

United are definitely favorites for top 4, but one of the chasing pack could definitely catch them.

1. Liverpool
2. City
3. Chelsea
4. Spurs
5. Utd
6. Arsenal
7. Wolves
8. Leicester
9. Saints
10. Everton

Relegated: Palace, WBA, Fulham.

Think Chelsea are very live for the title, injuries among the top 3 could decide it. Fitness of VVD again basically makes or breaks our season imo. Got a feeling Spurs are going to be much improved but again injuries between 4-6 may well decide that last place.

Jesus at 16/1 might be value for golden boot, his xg/90 has been really high since he came over and think he gets a lot more minutes this year.

Think Leicester are being slept on a bit. They were clearly the third best team and had great metrics until about 2/3 the way through then their depth got exposed with injuries.

If we get Aouar over the line I think he could make a similar difference to Bruno.

Any guesses for first manager sacked this season? Will go for Hodgson but Moyes could be not far behind.

For Arsenal, if they get a top midfielder like Aouar they should challenge for 4th. If they don't, they'll probably continue to barely outshoot mid table teams and rely on Pepe/Auba just being better than the strikers Brighton etc bave.

Excited for a full season of Arteta, but the squad still needs quite a bit of work.
Saliba/Magalhaes will be raw, I'd rather just lean on them and Saka/Martinelli (when he gets back) and you at least have a heavy upside potential to make a leap.

Am I correct in believing that stupid PeacockTV is showing only 1 live match Saturday (West Ham v Newcastle) and one 1 live match Sunday (Spurs v Everton)?

So we're at a place where there are zero PL games shown on cable in North America now?

Canada is only DAZN and USA is strictly peacock?
(FA Cup is still on Sportsnet in Canada afaik)

Martinez hasn't traveled to Fulham, his deal to Villa should be done soon.
If snyone cares fantasy wise id expect this from Arsenal:

Pepe-Auba-Willian
AMN-Xhaka-Ceballos-Bellerin
Tierney-Saliba-Holding
Leno

Luiz is hurt otherwise I'd have him over Saliba.
Not sure how fit Lacazette is, possible Saka over Pepe for the same reason.

Looks like NBCSN is showing matches on Saturday. I guess those are only available to cable subscribers? It's damn confusing because as an NBCSN gold sub last year you got these games. Then they canceled NBCSN Gold and sold everyone on PeacockTV but then they show 80% of the matches on NBCSN with no way to watch them as a streaming subscriber? WTF.

Yeah, I’ve got no idea wtf I need to buy. I’ve got cable and can watch the Arsenal game tomorrow, but when they aren’t on cable where the hell are they? Is it premium peacock?

idk if people here are interested but £12 for a year of The Athletic seems like mad value and finally convinced me to send them some money (not a referral or anything, just thought this was a great deal)

Worth it just to read all the Premier League 60 articles imo.

It's great value and people in general should subscribe to this type of media since the content decisions are not being driven by advertising and clicks which leads to 99% of the stuff being published about Pogba's new haircut and what it means for the United dressing room.

Sancho + a good left back should really be the minimum this window. The situation at Barca has taken the light off a bunch of other clubs including Woodward at United. He's a complete ****tard.

This is on Ole who switched to a 4-2-3-1 and plays Pogba deep + Bruno in the 10. We are complete dogshit with a holding 2 and it's insanely tilting.

Apparently he has told VBD he wants him at the 10 next year so maybe we see Pogba/Bruno is a 2. If this is true then ole should be binned immediately. It takes a special type of button clicker to play all 3 cms out of position.

Yes it is Premium Peacock. $5/ mo so worth it but They were saying 175 live matches 6 weeks ago and in week 1 there are 3. And one top 4 team in those 3 matches.

A: Player controls with that functionality are on the product roadmap, but will not be available at launch of the 2020/21 season.

That's terrible.
I have an early wave smart TV that is pretty ass with DAZN, but it has good interface on the PS4 app.

Actually scrub that, we have Moyes, and we know that winning is what he does.
Moyes is certainly one of the managerial masterminds that can turn things around, but agree with KDawg that they might be outterribled by other teams, perhaps WBA and Fulham come to mind at first then we'll see about the rest.

Fair enough. However, Spurs were ****ed with injuries royally. Think the defensive depth is something that will need work before the start of the season tho, just because a CB injury and you are starting Foyth on the regular.

I'm quite bullish on Chelsea. Sure they defense wasnt all that but adding Thiago/Chilwell/Mendy surely will help with that + the attack is just saucy with a lot of depth. Do Chelsea fans think Mount will still get decent minutes btw or he is going to suffer from all these additions?
