Liking that Spurs kit. Think Nike are low key much more hit or miss these days than they used to be.

If anyone is super bored, Burton - Leicester kicking off soon on Youtube.

Playing for the prestigious Bass Charity Vase, which wiki informs me is "made from gold and inscribed with the names of all previous winners. It is reputed to be one of the most valuable trophies in English football"

So, kind of a big deal...and, hopefully if we win, and finally end the 40 years of hurt since we last held it, there will be a commemorative DVD made to celebrate it.

West Ham are 3-1 up at Celtic, who appear to be fielding OAFK in goal.

OAFK subbed off at half time, still lost 6 2.

The best bit was some ex-Celtic youngster that has a main career achievement of saying that an 8 year old girl might be "peng" when she is older on Instagram got the sixth goal, which should have crowned a **** day for the home side.

Could just be that the Celtic defense is about League One level, but the Benrahama goal looked pretty nice to me. Possiblyma big year upcoming for him.

Joey Barton charged with beating up a woman. This is very surprising.

You have to feel Black managers might have a point regarding lack of opportunities when people like Barton walk into decent jobs.

And the next day Rangers were giving Real Madrid* a hiding. Ended 2-1 but should've been much more.

John Terry has left Villa to pursue his advance to management.
Probably be at Palace for Christmas.

Just seen the draw for the FA Cup Preliminaries and there are some great names.

Think my favourite is the 'New Salamis', although I do also like the simplicity of naming your team 'Street' or 'Quorn'.

Tammy is good, he'll score a lot of goals although he also has limitations in some areas.

The past 2 seasons he uses less minutes per non penalty goal than Harry Kane. Obviously Kane is a much better player by every metric, but it goes to show that Tammy can be quite prolific. He seems like a lock to score 10-15+ with potential for quite a bit more every season if he plays regularly, and that's always going to be very valuable in the PL (anywhere, really).

I think he can become really good, though I'm not sure he can be a world beater. There's much he doesn't do well, while he isn't woeful on the ball, he's much more the poacher type who wants the ball to finish it inside the penalty area, he does less the further away from goal he is (although he's not terrible at these things). He's also poor in the air despite his height and strength which should enable him he to be a beast aerially. But he can improve (although not sure his headers will with the new 10 header per week cap), and he already has over the past 2 years. But Tuchel doesn't seem to rate him so we probably have to cash in, but I hope we don't sell him to Arsenal.

I still don't get why it's assumed Chelsea will simply let Tammy go.

With Giroud gone, the only way I see Tammy go is if a big name striker comes and I don't see that happening so...

I think we'll sign a striker. If we don't there's certainly a good chance that he stays.

I think he really wants to go, even with Giroud gone, he's far away from playing, he didn't make the squad most of the time towards the end of last season, and it's not like Giroud got lots of minutes that will now go to Tammy. It's also the time to cash in now with 2 years left on his contract, although losing out on £15-20m by keeping him another season is obviously not the end of the world.
