Almost as if professional footballers need regular football if you want then to perform at the highest level consistently. I'd take Ake on my team any day.

Did not see Willock making such an immediate goalscoring impact, but delighted for the kid.

Willock has spent most of the season on the bench and still has more goals than Fartial and Aachen Ali Dia. Great burst of pace to win that pen.

it's not like Lester are even getting players who no one knows about. Soumaré seems to have been on everyone's radar for 2 years, and somehow in a market bereft of decent DMs they are getting him for £20m.

Potter looks the best bet. Brighton look well organised and play really good football. They would be comfortably mid-table if their strikers could finish.

Their star player Camavinga is our top target this summer, but he's so good already he should be going to a top CL team. That said, if Madrid don't go for him we might have a chance. After that, probably the second best midfielder we could sign is Bennacer from Milan...who was an Arsenal youth player as recently as 2017, but literally never got a game for the first team. Was never really highly rated but now is the best midfielder in Italy.
Guendouzi captains the French u21 but he broke his foot a week ago so probably will be out the rest of the tournament.

Also, why is Barca signing Aguero? Just silly.
