I get it doesn't really matter but in an industry controlled by narratives & media headlines, I'd have thought Ole doesn't want to read "Man City king of Manchester once again as United fails to beat Leicester"

Sky are calling this Leicester CL place a little early. They should at least wait for the Man Utd Liverpool result on Thursday. If Liverpool win, I'd put them as favourites.

Seriously though, Ings' and Vastegaard's contracts are both up in a year so we may have to ship our two best players for a cut rate

Unfortunately I don't think wages would be similar. We don't pay anyone six figures right now and are pretty busto. The offer on the table would apparently make him the highest paid player but I've no doubt he can get more elsewhere.

Champions League football may be possible too. Lots of the smoke is coming from city, which makes sense of they're going to go false 9 most of the time but need a more traditional forward for some games.
