No more goal differential to determine league places. Premier league will now use head to head results if two teams are tied on points.

You've misunderstood, H2H only comes in if teams are level on points, goal difference and goals scored.

As opposed to the previous rule which would have required a playoff match.

Not what this says.

Quote:
If two or more clubs finish level in the table when competing for the title or European qualification, or when relegation is at stake, their records in the head-to-head matches will now be used to separate them.
but then they say this

Quote:
In 2019/20 the team who have collected the most points in the head-to-head duels between the sides lying level on points, goal difference and number of goals scored, will take the highest finishing position, while the team with the fewest will take the lowest place.
So I guess you are right.

Yes it is, because clubs aren't level in the table when one of them has a better goal difference.

Chelsea are now basically a worse Arsenal/United, with the fact that the latter two can still improve their squads this window.*

If United keep Pogba and DDG and add at least 1-2 quality players I can definitely see them finishing comfortably ahead of us.

As for the season expectations:
FA Cup or Europa League semi-final
9 away wins
Finishing inside the top4

It will be fun to watch the young guns play in the EL and Mickey cup.

*lol

Wellbeck and Sturridge are kicking around without clubs but it's OK we can get Austin for £8m....

Although in fairness he would be an excellent Joselu replacement.

We were linked with Austin, so he'll go to Villa before Newcastle

Im surprised no one has snapped Sturridge up yet even with his injury problems. On his day he is a top class striker and well worth a punt on a free.

Low weekly salary with appearance and performance bonuses and a modest signing on fee doesn't seem like a bad shout for either of them imo.

Speaking of Brucie, it’s quite impressive that he’s managed to manage both Sheffield clubs, Newcastle, Sunderland, Villa and Birmingham. The tour continues.
