they had already won back to back titles tbf. this would have been the third

Ok. Prediction time.
How much will Foden be at the start of the next FPL season?

I’m going for 7.5, even though he should probably be 9.5, and the most essential player ever. A starting ownership of 70%

Looked at the run-in, we just need to not lost both our next 2 games. After that, we have the easiest of run-ins out of all the top4 trophy hunters. The current form is best we've had all season, football looks better with BRUUUUUNO. Strengthening in Jan paying off. Agent Jose doing his best to help our cause. I'd consider UTD favs for top 4 w/ Chelsea, Arse, Wolves all having tougher fixtures.

The cup runs will be exciting and as we all know next season Pool gonna hand us back that one league they won when everyone sucked.

In what world do we pay 35m for a 29 year old who has a horrible injury record? I expect he'll be signing a new contract with improved terms pretty soon.

If a chairman of a team wants to bet a massive amount of money that said team will go down you should absolutely not take the action

Funny how a betting scandal where the owners are alleged to have bet on their own team going down and the mainstream media have barely mentioned it but if Joey Barton chins someone or Wayne Rooney gets into a drunken scrape its front page news. This Wigan scandal is huge and I hope it gets looked into properly.

Arsenal get Martinelli to sign a new contract as well. Probably doubles his wages from what he signed a year ago, not bad for the kid.

Reading The Athletic piece on Spurs woes and they want to replace Aurier with Max Aarons. They're also after Hojberg. Pretty uninspiring deals imo.

Do we know how it happened? Sounds dodgy both of them at the same time.
Don't want to start any rumours but it was definitely Pogbas fault.

Aarons seems like he’d be a huge upgrade over the idiocy of Aurier at RB.

Absolutely can’t wait to watch Martinelli again.

Apparently Auba wants three years and 250/wk. Surprised he’s open to staying since he could literally have his pick of any club. Not sure if we’re going to be making any sort of meaningful challenge in that span, but still sounds good to me.

Where else is he going to go where he's going to be making that much though?

Yeah, basically none of the top 15 clubs in Europe need a striker right now.
I thought Auba was on 220 a week, if he just wants 250 that doesn't seem bad? As long as you can shift Laca on and turn his fee/wages into a decent midfielder the squad looks a lot better. Everyone knows we're interested in Partey, swapping Laca for him makes us so much better.
