Ok, im not saying that perspective is the absolute truth, but its a valid perspective and we have to move away from binary money is absolute good/bad thinking. It can be bad in some cases and good in other.
When Chelsea got loads of money it was good, when City got it it was bad. J/k.
That said I think its hard to argue that the EPL has not improved massively in terms of competitiveness, though of course there is a spectre of a hugely dominant MCity lurking on the horizon.
