This will be the down fall of Dyche ball if he plays him.

The defence won't be nearly as good, it's such a bizarre and unnecessary signing. If he play and plays >19 games Burnley are down.

While I'd much prefer Heaton as first choice, I disagree with this. Happy to take the bet if you want.

I would also bet that if Hart gets that much playing time he'll be back in the England squad by the end of the season.

Okay, Hart gets >19 PL games Burnley go down I win. They stay up you win. If he doesn’t get 19 games, we just call it quits?

I’ll bet up to £50 on it.

I’ll also take £20 on him not getting in he squad, regardless of whether he plays 1 game or 38

Only premier league games count invade that isn’t clear.

Why this weird obsession over hart for England? Who cares if he does get in the squad, he won't ever effectively play serious football for England and even if he does get in the squad, what is it supposed to mean? Livermore and Huddleson were making the squad a few months ago

Yeah this is a good point and can be extended to also suggest that Heaton and Pope aren't necessarily world beaters either. Burnley just defend so well that chances are few and far between, so Hart could easily end up looking great again if he runs well and doesn't make many egregious mistakes when it matters.

fwiw I don't think Hart is anywhere near as bad as people make out.
