I don’t know how pragmatic he will be.

His greatest talent is coaching upper mid table teams. Villareal and Málaga were his best tenures imo.
Real Madrid and City was decent but nothing great.
West Ham is slightly below the level he did his best job but given the PL money nowadays he could build something interesting.

I definitely feel it’s a good signing overall for West Ham.

I will make my predictions after the window closes, but very little chance it isn't

1. City
2. Liverpool
3/4 Spurs/United in some order

Lol. Maybe if Spurs spend £250m before the end of the window.

I suspect we are done spending.

One of Spurs, United, Chelsea, Liverpool will finish outside the top 4 depending on how they run with injuries.
Arsenal will probably have a rebuilding season.
Its impossible to pick who goes down in this league, might as well pick 3 random teams.

EDIT: I would leave out Everton from the relegation lottery because they are in their own special tier.
These are some scorching hot takes.

new spurs kits are nice except for that blue collar in home shirt

home

away

The away one in particular is unpleasant.

Awful. The home kit will look especially bad with the white shorts we usually wear for European games.

No, it's because you lack taste.

Me and ER:

You'd think that Spurs and France would be big enough teams so that Nike could be arsed to come up with something other than a standard template, but nope

Sounds good to me.

Is there a point to this comment or have you just posted it for the benefit of people who struggle to interpret an ordered list?

Actually that was me; ashley copied the fan list from previous editions and I put you down as a spud because that’s where I assumed all dual-GHW’s go.

will then will prob dump Batsman because we have Giroud
Sarri might sign Mertens to replace Hazard (or barring that, Martial?)
others like Kante & Willian could also leave, only to be replaced by ???

oh and they have like 3 weeks to sort all of this out
but since there's so little time they might just hang on to a bunch of unhappy players and sort it out later
could be a total mess

at least most ppl seemed to think that the Jorginho signing was a good one...
(sounds like CB Daniele Rugani could be in from Juventus, which is sure whatever, guess they could use another defender)

and hopefully they hang on to a few of their promising young players for a change
Yea I only put them 3rd just because. Did think we ran bad at times last year for the 5th placed finish (ran well to win league previous year though). All points made are good but I think it looks worse than it is. Echo oafk’s sentiments from other thread regarding the potential of what our squad could’ve been right now and we shouldn’t be in a position of uncertainty as we are now.

1 more strike and I'll be calling for jerkoff to come back.

I really like the Away one.

At least the home one is better than the seat belt shirt from a few years back..

Amazing how similar the United and spurs tops are despite being opposite providers (Nike and Adidas)

Both are rubbish IMO
07-19-2018 , 12:22 PM

Best Spurs kit of recent time imo...

Burnley will only ever be Burley, and this thread will hate them for it.
