Arsenal doing their best to pad some xG with those cutbacks

if only we had anyone able to play the ball in our back 4. we spend so much time trying to get out of our own half.
10-22-2018 , 04:35 PM
Oh and that's a bad miss

Reiss Nelson with 4 goals in 4 games for Hoffenheim. Like a new signing when he comes home.
Auba - 16 goals in 21 games.

Nobody’s scored more goals in the Prem since Auba joined us.

Wenger in his last and worst year re-signed our best player, brought us a world class forward, and shipped the dog weirdo over to Manchester so they can overpay him for five years. Happy 69th birthday, legend.

I'm an Arsenal fan but I have been less enthusiastic about the club now that Wenger is gone. I don't know why that is.

I'm the opposite.

Wenger got crushed when he spent big (for the time and Arsenal) on Mustafi/Xhaka/Laca and they all flopped. I'd argue his transfer record is close to GOAT status when you look at his entire career though.

Not sure we can really call Laca a flop at this point. He's not set the world alight but his return is not awful.

What's with the stewards watching the game? The first I noticed that yesterday at the Etihad. Not a bad job.

Lacazette was injured for a large part of last season. Since he came back he has been great. Hardly a flop.

Laca flop? Some mighty high standards there

Leicester looked really good in the fist half, really impressive how they crowded us out in every situation.
2nd half was one of the best i have seen from Arsenal in a long time.
Torreira is key, combination with Xhaka is very good

Cashy!

I’m just going to choose to blame Mustafi on Gazidis because I read it somewhere. Lacazette hasn’t quite lived up to his price tag yet, but it’s harsh to call him a flop.

Morata...now there’s a ****in flop.
10-24-2018 , 03:02 PM
didn't xhaka play left back in 2nd half?

I was specifically talking about his performances under Wenger where there's no question if he was a flop.

I mean yea. Same as Eduardo was a flop when he broke his leg in 12. But tbf Wenger has to take some blame. He didnt really give laca a chance to stabilize himself
