DS, did Man Utd remain 6th in the updated xg model or due to similarities with burnley’s style of play were they propelled up the table?

Wading into debate, obviously models available to public are a work in progress, take a balanced approach to analysis and post xg results that fit your narrative when you suspect your team suffered a bad beat.

Going to guess that no they don't benefit from the additional data like Burnley did. Largely mun over performance was due to de gea god mode as opposed to really good defensive structure making chances tougher than xg would mark them as.

Just back from MetLife. Friendlies are dumb and they have fleeced us American supporters. However watching Mane and Salah play 2v11 and destroy City's academy for 20 minutes was a lot of fun.

Also I bet on the lol friendly and won. Liverpool were -120. Got lucky
