Said a few weeks ago that I was worried about Brighton's form and that they might not be safe. Really think they are now favourites to go down.

Both understat and 538 seem to think they're about as **** as each other. Having 2 points and a game in hand is pretty hard to overcome though

Why do you insist on keeping digging.

Chelsea dont need a striker better than Lukuku, we need a striker better than the ones we have.

That is most of them.

That striker might end up being squad material if we keep looking for an elite striker, but to improve the squad now we dont need a striker of that level.

We will sell you Lukaku if you sell us Hazard or Kante. Deal?

uh didn't realize brighton had such a tough fixture list and cardiff two fairly winable fixture left, it really is on now

With Brighton's run in I can see them getting a maximum of 3 points and that is if they beat us at their place.

Wolves (A)
Spurs (A)
Newcastle (H)
Arsenal (A)
Man City (H)

If the title race is going down to the last day and City have to win they don't have a hope.

If you pay £30 million and 150k a week for a mediocre dude because he's just a little better than giroud and higuain but not as good as what all your rivals have you're just making the problem worse.

Chelsea biggest problem right now is Sarri is a knob and won't play Giroud but will play Higuain and for some stupid reason won't play Hazard out on the left.

Do any of your UK books have odds on City to win every league game remaining. Just curious what the odds are if so. Assuming its odds against but how much?

Prices around 2.4/1 for all five remaining.

That seems mentally low, when they have us at home and United at OT? Doesn't that imply they're an average of a ¬83% favourite in each game?

They’re 3/10 to win on Saturday, to give you an idea. 1/2 to beat mun away.

Being on for the quadruple in mid-April only to come away with the mickey mouse cup would be the funniest thing

I cannot see City not shipping the league now tbh.

I think it is mad to think City won't win the league now. Only have that to focus on and limited injury problems.

Also I think Liverpool still have a slip up in them (pun not intended) as we haven't seen one yet this season and every team generally has one.

You are suggesting that increasing the strength of our bench going forward (having a competent but not elite striker as a bench player is fairly standard) and increasing our CL ev significantly, would some how worsen our position.
Nothing you are posting is close to making any sense.

Higuan was brought in precisely to improve the Giroud is main striker situation. Its no surprise he ousted him from starting position, its not like he was relegating a 10-15 EPL goals striker to the bench. After having his standard allotment of new player minutes and demonstrating he is even more unproductive than Giroud, Giroud has started to get back in the starting 11.

Also Sarri is not the first manager to try Hazard as false 9. Our striker situation has been dire for some time.

Nothing wrong with a good CL semi participation trophy

It'd be standard Blades for Agent Clarke to do a job at Elland Road, right after we've failed to beat Forest. ****ing lunchtime kickoffs
