Just onto episode 5 of the Sunderland documentary. It's bingeable…
12-18-2018 , 01:53 PM
I liked how even though they were financially crippled and basically could only sign players on loan (if they could somehow convince them to come to Sunderland in the first place) their scouts decided “they could do better” because the guy they were watching was wearing gloves.
12-18-2018 , 02:02 PM
Everyone's being too harsh on mourinho. The man powered united to a second place finish last season. If they had given him the proper resources to buy more players as needed he easily could have competed this year with city and Liverpool.

Was watching that and couldn't believe how they managed to **** up the finances that badly... ten straight years in the Prem, massive parachute payment compared to what the rest of the league is pulling in, and they can only sign loan players if they could've somehow convinced Rodwell to walk away from 70k a week? How does the rest of the league sign their guys?

Was kinda funny how the fans were blaming the owner for wanting the club to be self-sustainable and Rodwell for not just walking away from massive amounts of cash. You done ****ed up

Turns out episode 5 was the best one yet. Rodwell time...

I don't know if the [Paddy Power] bit at the end means the whole thing is satire. I guess there's not much difference between Paul Ince as satire and irl.

I was also confused about the finances. They got a big fee for Pickford, which I thought could go a pretty long way in the Championship.

Also, it sounds like a good idea to me from Ince. United board should listen to this legend imo.

i like how they (the players, but especially management) are entirely talking in football clichés, like what you hear on tv, while the house just comes crashing down on them. they actually believe all them dumb **** people just say in football and then you watch them get crushed.

it's the football version of those shows that make you want to die from secondhand hand embarrassment

cheers mate, just placed my house on all this

@itsyuuki how about the analysis for the poverty NLD tomorrow? Who's reserves are better?
12-18-2018 , 02:49 PM
I'm going to predict that he will be off until the end of the season.
Get a one year job in some **** like Inter.
And the get the Portugal job after Euro2020, if Ronaldo retires from the NT.

The study shows that the game might have 1 Goals.
So you're saying 1-0

12-18-2018 , 03:07 PM
but more likely: in for mou to psg, to be followed by 1,000,000 non-ironic sentences in the papers about how his tactics and mindgames have become extremely effective once again

What a week. First LadBaby, and now this.

Unbelievable.

Thank ****. I'm all for giving managers time but like Van Gaal Mourinho was just willing to take it all the way with his stubborn decisions.

Don't like any of the rumoured names Blanc/Ole/Carrick etc. Would genuinely take Wenger for 6 months if possible. He'd play good football, get Martial/Pogba onside, give some of the younger players a chance and at least make us a live dog in the cup competitions which about all we can really hope for this season.

Never going to happen so just preparing myself for one of the above.

Steve Bruce is a fine suggestion.

BAIDS is going to be fuming when Foden gets eclipsed by whoever the Spanish debutant is playing for Manchester City tonight.

Would the pooch leave Spuds for Utd?
12-18-2018 , 03:47 PM
Blimey, Demarai Gray has some pace.

Why would he go to Utd over Real/Barca?

^the amount of **** being stacked high in this post is truly amazing. You have droned on about United sun running for second place last year and have made plenty of posts about how awful United are under Mou. If you aren't actually 10th levelling here then I don't know what to say.

For me, Perreira should've seen a lot more time. While Fred isn't exactly young, his lack of playing time is disconcerting and bringing in Sanchez when Martial could've played a lot more wasn't forward thinking (much more of that is on Woody's head)
12-18-2018 , 04:01 PM
mun a much better job rn than those two. way more job security & they're so desperate they'll prolly guarantee way more money

and faaaar lower expectations u can finish finish 6th two years in a row and ppl be like well he needs time

lose 2 games in a row for real & you're done

best league in the world!
same pay?
clearly more job security / lower expectations as boids mentioned.

Also, it would be absolutely hilarious to see the pooch bring Harry Kane with him.

also i think rm/barca figured out the thing about managers bein completely interchangeable, cos they now seem to just give 2 year contracts to nobodies and spend the savings on renewing kroos' contract or w/e
