Sturridge case depends on the details. Pie guy was lol, Joey Barton was not for example.

Arsenal game was very wengerish. Just expected to best a mid table team by showing up and just never got past second gear.

I’m dying at how miffed Duncan is on Twitter. Everything about city. Guy definitely is not mad but find it hilarious

Tough to compete when the genie can grant you 95 points before season kicks off and unsure whether good enough to win title. Not that I ever thought we had a realistic chance but even in games where I feel it gives us a hope to keep pace (ie rooting for spurs to turnover city); in reality I’m rooting for city so that we don’t have to sweat 4th place. I don’t think I’d usually bet city 1.42 at home to beat united but here we are. Ignoring all the shenanigans, (those is glass houses shouldn’t throw stones), in purely sporting terms city are just amazing. I’d be amazed if there is a fan out there who could find something to moan about.
If we finish within 19 points of City, it will be a historic achievement; worth reminding everyone whatever chance is presented to do so.
Having said all this, evidence thus far suggests utd / arse need to improve quite a bit to have us worrying for top 4. Merely in a battle with spuds for 3rd place.

Au contraire, his value should go up because his performances will be enhanced.

is it really international break again. Is it more than usual this year? so aids
11-12-2018 , 06:01 PM
Definitely feels like much more often ever since that first break so soon after the WC. If it's not then that nations league thing has really been covered a lot and is more succesful than I thought, even though it seemed like a really lazy trick to basically glorify friendlies to make some more cash.

how are they not the GOAT EPL side already? They scored 106 goals last year with 27 against and got to 100 pts. That they may even better the greatest season of all-time is utterly absurd though

They might be, I was actually referring to all time great sides in my post. Like peak pep Barca with messi level

yea, I still don't see how they aren't already there tbh. Pep may never truly be able to "top" the messi-xavi-iniesta teams, but this team is certainly there already
11-12-2018 , 11:00 PM
If David Silva had played on that peak Barca team, he’d be described in the same terms as Xaviesta.

Thoughts on top 3 POTY so far? My 3 would be Silva, Hazard and Virgil. Maybe biased with Virgil obvv. Interested in others opinions

I'm meeting Ledders for a spot of lunch today. He'd better not try and put his hand on my thigh. At least not before I have had a couple of drinks.

I'd watch out...he is a sneaky one. Lures you in with his personality and natural charm then BAMMM, you are long time friends who give each other Christmas gifts

I hope he at least has the manners to give a reach-around.

Sturridge betting on himself to be loaned at WBA...

I don't see what could have gone wrong

Any bookie that has a line on a player going somewhere on loan, and takes a bet on it, is asking for trouble. The only people betting are going to know it’s happening. Sounds dodgy from both sides.

They'd need to dominate the Champions league conversation for years. They weren't even favourites to win it a week ago. Barcelona at their peak were like evens to win the CL during the group stage. Besting them in a knock out tie was a gargantuan, herculean feat. This City team? They will be flipping vs all the best sides in Europe in the latter stages. Sorry no. Absolutely dominating the rest of the English league which contrary to what some might say is not exactly in an amazing state right now is not enough.

Also nothing to moan about???? They are literally cancer on football.

I'm not taking the piss here - in what way are they a cancer on football?

Sounds like a pretty robust strategy. You can freeroll by not paying out when you lose!

As the Football Ramble said, I hope they have a car door installed in the bush telegraph for him to speak through the window.

Hoopie, you missed ‘bare bones’.

He’ll probably get kicked out early for saying something inappropriate
