Dunno if it's his age or just that he's secured his big pay day and is now phoning training in but he doesn't seem to have the same burst of acceleration. Seems to get caught on the ball/fail to get away from his man a bunch compared to a year or two ago.

Boro had a player make their debut tonight who was born in 2002. I started uni in 2002. **** this guy.

He was just so explosive while with us. He might have worked out a bit too much for his own good.

How good can you be at the attacking side of the game when the manager has you playing as a wingback in training?

ESPN+ has ended up being a great deal with Serie A in addition to Championship matches.

This is nonsense. A quintessential Mourinho signing to one up pep. That's how Mourinho has won 20 major trophies.

I mean it’s kind of true. He gets results quick by demolishing a clubs future with prime/slightly past prime signings and starving out/selling young talent.

Demolishing a club's future. He really demolished Chelsea's future they only went and won the League the next season after he left. Also the way he demolished Real Madrid's future will never be forgotten. How dare he assemble the nucleus of a team that would fail to win the CL once in the last 5 seasons. He's a wrecker.

Interesting tidbit that came up when updating the 12X points for the coming weekend. Huddersfield are 33/1 to win at city (you can actually get a bit of 40/1 aorn), which would be the longest odds in a Premier League match since at least the start of the 2009-10 season (which is as far back as my records go).

Who was the previous record holder, you may ask?
Spoiler:
Huddersfield away at City last season, went off at 30.0 on Betfair (City were 1.08, draw was 13.0). The game ended 0-0...

Zaha signs new contract until 2023. No release clause apparently.

Raheem Sterling: Silence over criticism is 'shameful', says Kick It Out chair

Not sure I agree with the conclusions here. I don't particularly like Sterling, but I wouldn't say it's because his skin colour. For me, it's a combination of (in order of magnitude):

1, Not playing very well for England.
2, The way he left Plop (money), and his supposed request for parity at City with the highest earners.
3, Other dumb stuff, like the gun tattoo.

City and Pool are so far ahead with their coaching it is unreal.
You can see how many of their actions on the field are worked into a habbit, with so much decision making removed they are always a step quicker.

We were clearly much improved tactically already but still hopeless against that machinery

**** me. Ugh. I hope he hasn’t torn his acl. ****ing please.

yeah, no one is saying that if you personally aren't very keen on sterling that makes you racist. that seems like a very strange way to interpret KIO's statements which obviously don't imply anything of the sort?

Yeah but you're a right wing loon that gets triggered by someone's choice of tattoo ffs.

Same as the rest of the daily mail readers.
