wenger spent about £200m net fella on transfers while at arsenal. the vast majority of it (~95%) has been since summer 2013

my guesstimate is that he's spent in the region of £300m-£350m in 2018 money on xfers after adjusting for football-specific inflation since 1997, ie less than pep @ city

If you look up the Emirates on Google Earth, you can see Robbie and Claude just chilling there.
