10 years ago today the worst PL team ever (no, not that one) were relegated.

The article about Derby suing their former CEO, which is linked at the beginning of the one above, is also worth a read.

Cheyrou didn't come through the plop youth system either, and was 23/24 when he signed for them.

Marty is prob right about it being arsenal fans, although obviously Nketiah is the real deal.
But he's Marty, hes never right. Nearly nobody has been hyped lately, the only elite prospect in the last 5 years has been Bellerin, with gnabry being good enough for mid table clubs.

Iwobi Iwobi Iwobi.

Have known how good he should be for last 2/3 years, or until we actually got to see him try.

The list goes on and on.

And get you Mr I am right all the time even when talking PED abuse or running-shooting-headering ability.

Piss off.

reine-adelaide was supposed to be the real deal as well

As was the midfielder they shipped to Germany, A Dud.

Or the kid that scored a goal then found himself at WBA I think, never to be seen again.

Could be wrong here, but never really got the sense there was much of any hype around Iwobi. He broke into our match day squads and has kind of just stayed there till now.

I remember watching him in the CL game against Marseille and thinking he’d be a Chelsea starter for the next 15 years. Hindsight, the loan to Swansea seems like a terrible descision at a crucial point of his development. Chelsea’s managerial changes probably a big factor too.

Derby's annual fight against promotion seems to be going according to plan.

I'm sure the BBC will find a home for her as a means of forcing more women's football onto an ambivalent audience.

Thoughts with Wilkins and his family.
