Yeah, just got on a 3.5 hour train to Swansea and it's ****ing packed. Tannoy guy just announced there would be no cafe service so no water for me. FML.

Inb4: serves you right for going to Wales.
06-18-2017 , 08:18 AM
Just ask the first worker you see for some water lol.

Any hesitations just mumble something about medication.
06-18-2017 , 08:25 AM
Yeah may have to, hopefully they don't point me in the direction of the tap water in the toilets!

As an added beat, I'm traveling with 2 weeks clothes, full suit carrier, and Glasto stuff so I'm sweating like a paedo getting it across London and then a 9/10 female sits next to me on the packed train. When a seat became available somewhere else she snap took it lol.

Lol

Looks like it's set to cool down in London just in time for my arrival. Which is great because I'm in Texas right now and it's hitting 40 daily

i dunno how people live like this. no wonder spain is at 30% unemployment, its far too hot to do anything productive

****.that.****. And I thought it was miserable enough in Chicago last week when it was in the 90s F (that's like around 35-37, right?). I have friends that live in Dallas and in Tyler and they've commented on how utterly hot it gets this time of the year. I'm white AF, I'm not built for such temperatures.

> 40 and the moment you step outside you're knackered and ready to call it a day.

I was on holiday camp in 2003 during the heatwave in the south of France (the middle of the red bit).

Our daily activities were basically sit around and drink water. When we did get to go on the lake, we ended ended up having to evacuate as planes were coming down to scoop up water to put out fires. Good times.

96F is 36C, at peak we're hitting about 104F. And yup, walking around in jeans was a terrible idea. Wore shorts this morning and it was a piece of cake at 32C.

Sydney had their hottest summer ever recorded this year but when I left a bit over a week ago I swear it was the coldest winter stretch I'd experienced in a long while and it looks like it's continued, pretty much every day between 7-18 and can't remember seeing it hit 20 in June

Bring.. It. On.

not that old but worth a rerun imo.

20 in June? ****ing lizard people! Been a chilly wet winter in NZ

It's supposed to get up to 46 or 47 this week.

Probably right unless there's suddenly a boxing match between an undefeated world champion and an amateur who's good at another sport that happens, but as that's such a ridiculous proposition then yes, this is the freest money

You think there's absolutely and without doubt much much much much lower than 20% chance that Arsenal finish 7th or lower next year?

Of course. Arsenal have finished top 4 for 20 straight seasons before this year where they finished 5th, and I don't see any other team in the PL that could compete with Arsenal, Chelsea, City, United, Tottenham and Liverpool for the top 6 spots.

Arsenal goal for the next season is to qualify for the CL by finishing at least in the top 4 , so not being in top 6 would be a very very very big upset for the club.
