In so many ways, this is now my team. In terms of the squad, this is my second summer transfer window and, in this complicated world of the football market, I was thinking it would take three windows. But I now have a good group, a club much better equipped and much better organised in the areas that support the first-team squad.
Mourinho in August

Lol

I remember how the thread was wanking over man utd in august after they started trashing everybody 4-0 to start

Supposedly they were BACK, lukaku was going to score 40 goals and the league was going to be so sick and competitive this year

Prove it.
03-16-2018 , 06:16 PM
Hahahahahaha!!!!!

At 4:00, basic body language. Violently shaking your head while saying, "The fans, that I WILL ALWAYS RESPECT! ALWAYS RESPECT!" doesn't convey the most sincerity, mate.

03-16-2018 , 06:17 PM
watched the entire Mourinho monologue. Just wow. He spends ten minutes talking down the club and talking up his own talent and achievements. If there isn't a light aircraft with a TSO GTFO banner flying over Old Trafford tomorrow then the entire fanbase is a giant bunch of cuckolds.
03-16-2018 , 06:19 PM
The fanbase know that he will always respect them. They won't throw him under the bus.

Finally watched the speech; I mean some of what he’s saying is not wrong iff he accepts he is part of the problem of utd recent ‘heritage’ - so he’s right (which is important to him) but he’s responsible (because talent he inherited like mata, de gea, martial and talent he bought lukaku, alexis, matic, pogba, bailly has performed below expected level or hasn’t been maximised). Most of speech is irrelevant though and doesn’t address any footballing concerns regarding utd. He does have a heart though; it’s just kind of all over the place right now and needs to love the game ‘football’ again; not the drama (and himself).

if the city fans dont give us about 60 rounds of 'jose mourinho, we want you to stay' during the upcoming coronation at the etihad then i will personally have to go up to manchester and have a word

The other side of all this is united are second in league, basically far enough ahead of chelsea to have top 4 locked up and could win the cup.

Let’s be honest though we are very fortunate to be there. We got lucky against Chelsea. Plop should have had at least 1 pen and completely dominated us. Spurs smashed us a few weeks back as well.

I don’t think anyone would disagree that at this moment(season) Spurs and Plop are better than us.

And realistically it’s a flip of a coin between us too for the 4/5th team in the league. No chance are we worthy of being that far ahead of you lot.

I think in an FA cup semi or final, Utd correctly go off as favorites v Spurs.

Poche made a big speech yesterday about the club needing to win something "for the fans" but I think he needs a trophy or two on his CV - as good a coach as he is, his game management is still questionable.
03-17-2018 , 07:37 AM
Poche has rested a few going into a international break.

Will certainly be criticized if we fail to progress.

Gg. Sick defending Swanz.
03-17-2018 , 08:42 AM
Wow VAR just cost Swanz a counter opportunity.
03-17-2018 , 08:44 AM
Whenever I think about VAR being a part of my normal saturday experience I die a little inside.
03-17-2018 , 08:44 AM
VAR WOAT
03-17-2018 , 08:54 AM
Im putting on my tinfoil hat here but I can see a future where they use VAR breaks as commercial breaks.
