However, individually we have not been as good. Our full backs are nowhere near the level or Walker/Rose, so we have gone to a back 4. However, a back 4 doesn't suit Sanchez nearly as well as a back 5. Some fans have argued Dembele is shot (although I don't agree). Eriksen has improved recently, but over the season he's not been at his best. Dele has dropped off. We're just not as convincing individually.
Aside from Son, I don't think anyone has improved this season (Okay, Sissoko too....). If we were at the level of the last two seasons, we would probably be second in the table by a decent margin.
That's what happens when you don't have a squad though. Possibly Dele isn't as good as you thought? He should be getting banned for his tackles and dives though.
Also that Wembley curse from the start of the season didn't happen (if it didn't become an issue that is) you'd be in the same boat as us and very likely 2nd. I think you're being to harsh, Spurs defo up there.

They all agreed it was the correct decision on MNF and on five live.

Amazing that interpretation of the laws of the game can still spark such debate.
Clatters is wrong, due to him saying he didn't try to play the ball. When he clearly did. That is the only grey part of it. He'd have been off if Lovern had been looking the other way and it hit his body on the way through.
They discussed it and supposedly afterwards he agreed and changed his mind - similar to Ian Wright once it was explained to him. Seems to be the pundits who disagree with it don't actually understand the law.
Sutton was being argumentative as usual saying someone should just stand at the edge of the box and try kick the ball off the attacking side from your own half, not realise that, that would be offside as they haven't went to play the ball. Also made a good point he'd have been better of just air kicking and it'd have been offside.
