Think we've been the better team but done **** all with it, where as they seem mildly threatening on the break, dunno how it looks on telly

United aren't catching City this year. We will have a very hard job overtaking them in the next few years. BvB, Monaco and Atletico toppled giants in the league by developing youth. We're not going to beat City/United by buying the stars they don't want to poach from us.

Alexis has been pretty much as good as previous years stats wise, but with someone like him he's liable to shoot anywhere from like 7% to ~25%. This year I think he's under 10%.

I posted last year about finishing "skill" being mostly bogus and here's a good article on it again. (To reiterate, the skill is getting in good areas/creating your own shots/making the right runs etcetc, more than just shooting a ball better than your opponent)
Cavani as the worst finisher proves XG is legit.

Are they paying the extra 13m?
01-13-2018 , 09:32 AM
Not sure of the amount but indications he could sign as early as tomorrow.
01-13-2018 , 09:32 AM
can you please hurry and complete a deal before 1830 CET

So excuse my american-ness but is he eligible for CL? I know Alexis would be if he transferred to City but I read coutinho wouldn’t be. Is that due to going to another league? Or because pool is still in it?
01-13-2018 , 10:07 AM
he wouldn't be. Alexis hasn't played CL this season, Keita and Coutinho have.
01-13-2018 , 10:10 AM

I hope so, but you never know with us.

Leicester look like scoring...could be an interesting one if Chelsea don't get ahead early.
01-13-2018 , 11:12 AM
Okay Leicester should be winning. FFS.

And the bidding war for Jonny Evans is about to get a lot more intense.
01-13-2018 , 11:14 AM
Jonjo and the boys are destroying the swans. I'll be streaming championship games next year.

newcastle's fault. iirc they spent half a season clapping on the 12 minute mark every home game because a season ticket holder's 12 year old dog died (they were also a full minute early with their applause every time btw but that is a separate issue)
01-13-2018 , 11:25 AM
