Mountain may be the best tbh. It sucks for EPL, but, it would be nice having NFL on at 11am and then at 3pm. Also, makes things easier for the west coast games during the NBA season. But, I'm not moving to MST just for that(though I can think of plenty of reasons to move to Denver).

The MLB package is awesome, i'd happily pay £3-400 a season for a premier league package like that that includes every match, probably more.

Can someone explain the Naby "Keith" Keita joke to me? I don't get that at all.

Yeah I absolutely love it. Cost me $12.50 this season to watch literally every single baseball game (other than Yankees or Mets games, but idgaf about those).

My current deal is borrow my Dad's sky go and BT sport logins and just pay for the 300mb virgin for £40 a month. He's thinking of unsubscribing soon though which will be the death of me.

Nooo, that's a travesty. When was that announced? Ian McIntosh did a decent job when he guest hosted I thought, hopefully he gets to do it.

Yesterday. Producer Ben is going too - they're going off to set up something new. Plus side is that's one extra podcast, assuming that they're both good.

I love the Pacific Time 7:00 am Saturday EPL games and the 10:00 am Sunday start for the NFL. The stone cold nuts right there. As well as the Sunday 5:00 pm NBC Football Night in America games.

As far as the Sunday 4:30/5:00 am EPL games..not so much..

Re: English Football 2017-2018

i have a sky go login and never use it bc it is god awful

its like 2 minutes behind live, gives an error message requiring log-out -> log-in way too often and is generally a clunky pain in the arse. sometime when going full screen it stretches to twice the size of the bluddy monitor and you cant get out without closing the browser. rubbish. gimme a stream set up by some random serbian any day over lolskygo, ty

I've heard a bunch of people say how great NFL sundays on the west coast are but don't really get it either. 10 AM starts seem too early if you don't wanna set your alarm for it. Noon or 1 PM sounds perfect.

Getting drunk from 10am to 9pm is way better than getting drunk from 1pm to midnight on a school night.

What about the English football? Waking up at 5am for that then doing a full day of American football? Nah. Can comfortably do them all in EST. LOL olds

I live in EST, I know.

Big games are pretty much all at 4pm, and only give a **** about Spurs tbh. Watching every single NFL game more important to me than every single premier league game, for financial reasons as much as anything.

Re: English Football 2017-2018

I'm a big believer in efficient watching, & have to wake up early because of kids anyway, so games that start at 5:30 am that I can record & start watching when I feel like, are pretty awesome (it's why I started watching to begin with).

Then can do the 30 second skip for goal kicks (especially if that team is winning or slow), fast forward through most parts of halftime, fast forward when the game isn't close in the 2nd half, etc.

Once you're an old, USA west coast is definitely the optimal place to watch sports.

I've actually just signed up to the VIP bundle on virgin media. 85 a month for all sky sports and bt sports in hd. Their broadband is the best in my area too.(300 Mbps in this deal). Was already paying ~68 for a lot less so it was a no brainer really.
I found it was okay on the laptop but not great on the TV. Wouldn't replace my TV package. £34 is a right weird price, they should do that via the satellite/box so it's in HD. I reckon a lot of people would go for that. Do a bundle where you get both BT+Sky (and other stuff like Eurosport for the tennis) and do it for £35 and you're on to a winner.

That's a pretty good deal, they use to call it the big kahuna bundle. I personally don't like VMboxes but haven't tried their new ones that came out a few years ago.

The broadband is well worth it.

I can't stand watching delayed sports. More power to you. But knowing the result is already known by someone somewhere and having to avoid internets and all forms of communication is the nut low for me.

I'm usually caught up by the end if it's an important game, & if I'm watching efficiently enough, it's not really an issue.

The times I would want to use the internet would be commercials, which is a non-issue. With EPL, don't really know anyone who would spoil it for me, although it does require a change in habits now that ESPN puts the scores on their front page.

Do BT still have the option to turn sky sports on/off a month at a time with these new channels? Probably consolidating with them if I can just turn the darts/NFL channel on when appropriate
