Pretty awesome. Great that Rafa actually said we will need to spend in Jan to stay up as well.

It's going to be a cricket score.

Would have been so much better if they scored at the end there.

Arse so lucky and everyone else so unlucky as AfTV would have been off the charts.

Not really, if you actually look at the shots they concede they are always from a distance and very low xG shots with a high amount being blocked. Credit should be given for this. I’d much rather concede 100 shots that are 0.05xG than have a couple of DDG wonder saves.

I’m not saying all their shots are these low ones but the majority are. Big chances conceded a much better column to look up IMO

I’m finding it’s the same all over to be honest. I’ve got 4G here though so it’s not too bad but relaying on your phone to try and find rivers isn’t great to be honest.

That Consty quote looks spot on tho?

I think Morata is more meh than Lukaku is elite, he was the best realistic forward we could sign. I also offered $$ on him vs Morata for this season and 0 people were interested. Langer that.

don't think so
Hazard + Morata have looked quite good when they've both been healthy and in the lineup
(Morata is 7th in minutes played this season, and Hazard is 10th)

scorepoints/90

Morata
17/18 - 0.82
16/17 - 1.25
15/16 - 0.91
14/15 - 0.86

Costa
16/17 - 0.77
15/16 - 0.72
14/15 - 0.77

Hazard
17/18 - 0.91
16/17 - 0.64
15/16 - 0.41
14/15 - 0.65

hopefully it continues like that

Tbh I wouldn't necessarily go back on what I said. At the same price you still take Lukaku I think, even if Morata outshines him in quite a few departments. He is one dimensional though. But that dimension is at times what we need and what we lacked last season a lot of the time. Shame he's been on such poor form, his confidence is low. He needs to at least be an elite flat track bully. That's the minimum.

seems like y'all have been crossing less this season? not exactly playing to Big Rom's strengths if so
12-13-2017 , 07:23 PM
Moyes back in to make the most of ROM

Avoided scores and rushed to get the ferry home. Looked up the times for the opposite direction and missed it leading to a mad dash to the other ferry point and a 20 minute longer bike ride. Got back right as motd was starting only to find the electric is out despite having an electrician here yesterday who said it was fixed. Gave up and looked up the scores to see that my Silva to Ramsey transfer last week has worked perfectly. **** everything, going to bed

BTW I preferred Morata in the summer and stand by that. He may not score as many goals, but he just brings so much more to a team. Lukaku gives you goals and not much else. His ball control/dribbling/overall technique is poor at best and his decision making and awareness is bad as well. He so often picks the wrong pass, and when he does pick the right pass, he's rarely able to execute it. All of this was on full display tonight and it's super frustrating to watch.

Bony didn’t look awful today.

I'll make a larger post later but we've absolutely punted this year and it's a joke. Absolutely no ambition this year besides maybe binking the Europa league or FA cup. Absolutely no idea what the squad will look like next year and half of it could or should be replaced next year.

Costa is better than Morata for me.

And he work great for Chelsea as well.

So Burnley's carthorses with their negative, anti-football tactics who make no attempt to win games and play football have now won MORE league games this season than God's gift to football, Plop.

Burnley is just immune to external factors, simple.
