This works on so many levels.

"Asked what he thought of Conte’s comments, Mourinho told journalists: “I don’t know. I could answer in many different ways but I’m not going to lose my hair to speak about Antonio Conte.”

Liverpool fans have voted in favour of safe standing.

Should get the ball rolling all over the PL now.

yes. i'm in central time (6 hrs behind for those in engloland). it makes it almost too convenient. i never miss a game, i just write off every single saturday and sunday until like 1 PM. early ko's are fairly tough (6:30 AM).

Once you get old, west coast is the best coast. I'm up @ 530 am anyway cuz kids (& if not can just fast forward through different things).

As for other sports, NFL @ 10 am is great, & never have to stay up super late to watch a game.

Spurs were already building it into their new stadium, before Liverpool fans were kind enough to give their permission.

I didn't know that.

When did they get the law changed?

Just seen a few articles and it's happening, in possibly the worst place ever for atmosphere.....'oh when the spuds' on loop lol.

Anyone thinking about running a Draft League for Fantasy?
Max is 16, which is already a lot of people, so it shouldn't be too hard to gather enough interest.
I could run one, but I'm fairly new to most of you, so I guess I could be affected by a Too Busy Syndrome.

It's being built into the stadium design - but yes, it's still against regulations in England.

It's a no brainer as far as I can tell. Should not even be hard to convince the powers that be to change the law since it will have basically universal approval and I am sure it wouldn't be hard to have a thorough safety assessment done.

I posted a while back that I'd run one. 16 is too many people though, should be a maximum of 8 I think.

Happy to enter one run by you if you want to do it.

I missed your post. Happy to enter either way.
I agree on 8. I'm doing one with 10 people and already looks too big.

I just don't want to discourage people from entering because it's a new person holding the funds, even if it's something like £20 per entry.

Meh I'm in EST and I'd prefer to be able to go to bed earlier on a school night for NFL/MLB.

So Amazon just picked up tennis rights, getting them off Sky.

Is this the beginning of what we were talking about a few weeks ago re: the death of Sky? Only a matter of time before the rest of the dominoes fall and a streaming entity takes over I would have thought.
08-01-2017 , 08:06 AM
Sky seem to be giving up loads of stuff. Football is all that matters and all that sells subscriptions, so why spend on the rest?
08-01-2017 , 08:20 AM
Sky have tried to diversify over the years to lessen the impact if they lost football, so I'm not sure why they would reel that strategy in when there is every chance BT could blow them our of the water in the next bidding process.

It's a pretty bad time for them as a business. They can't afford to lose football, however they will continue to hemorrhage subscribers the more they put their prices up, and the better internet streaming becomes.
08-01-2017 , 08:22 AM
^^ Probably why Sky are segregating the sport on their channels
£18 for 1
£22 for 2
£24.50 for 3
£27.50 for 4

Something like that - Whens the next auction for prem rights?
