Marcus Edwards or Phil Foden

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is determined to ensure his Premier League champions do not suffer another "Mourinho season" and slump from first place to 10th.
hahah mourinho season. nice one tony

imo there's a decent chance that everton suffer a mourinho season given their transfer activity

no way, i'm sure they'll be unstoppable if they can beat out Crystal Palace & Stoke for 33yo James Collins

Poch has compared him to Messi, supposed to be the biggest English talent at his age. Now we will actually get to see how he pans out. There has been a lot of concern about him leaving.
Not good enough to have it announced sat at the table with pen in hand and Poch's arm around him though amirite

I've never heard anyone referred to as the next messi before. Must be really good.

you literally said this

Quote:
Five years ago, most Spurs fans thought his ceiling was probably 3rd choice striker/Championship player.

Ditto Alli. He was available for £3.5m and £5k a week in wages.

Also for the threads information, PHIL has been given the captain's armband today so think we can call that Barca rumour well and truly debunked.

Actually, I literally said this:

the second part of the sentence you quoted is context specific to Kane.

I think it's pretty clear the point I'm making is that it was far from a given Dele would become one of the best players (or strikers, w/e) itw - not that 5 years ago most Spurs fans thought Alli's ceiling was 3rd choice striker/Championship player.

ER was right, Kane looked like a nothing player when he was on loan. He looked every inch a Millwall player when I saw him play for them.

And still does when he steps up a level for England. Same is true of Alli and Sterling.

Bog Snorkellers - Declan Rice has supposedly done well enough in his appearances in friendlies, so you can look forward to hin stagnating and not getting any game time for us.

This is pretty ****ty reporting from the BBC.

Quote:
"Two years ago Chelsea finished 10th; that cannot happen again," Conte said.

"We know the difficulty and for sure we want to avoid the Mourinho season with Chelsea," Conte added.
The difference in shade between 'the Mourinho season [15/16]' and 'a Mourinho season' is huge, and yet they put 'a Mourinho season' in quotes in the headline, which he didn't say.

Same age as Angel Gomes, Jaydon Sancho and Phil Foden right? England is going to run the table for ~12 years if they all live up to the hype.
