That site is more for sports betting sharps

For fpl, I recommend solvedthegame.com

I heard the guy who runs it was a 2p2er until about 6 months ago.

How much do you think the plop fans are worth in this market? To me, they are priceless.

He's been gone a lot longer than that, about 18 months since his last post.

Who was he? Is it the infamous one?

What PL managers' dress sense says about them

Tony Pulis an obvious highlight, as is Craig Shakespeare.

I wish we were as organised, and as good, as this...

Also enjoyed the Sean Dyche one. He could easily be a recurring character in The Bill.

Absolutely outrageous tbh. Can't the clubs mutually boycott it with support of the Premier League? Why should Sky have the power here. Oh contracts...but not like they are going to take the clubs to court is it especially when their existence is precariously balanced on the edge with football rights the only thing stopping then tipping over the edge.

I think the Arsenal-Liverpool game won't get moved it has been mooted that not enough stewards have signed up to work that day thus the council won't give the safety certificate. Whether the club is pushing them to say yes/no I wouldn't know.

They even wanted the game to kickoff at 4pm which plod said no to, and are shooting for midday now.

I love football in and around jesus' birthday and new year. It's great. However having it on christmas eve is utterly ridiculous.

Yeah, I don't really see the huge issue. Christmas Eve is a normal working day anyway. Travel is probably more difficult on Boxing Day but football has always been played on that day with no problems.

Because Christmas Eve is when real men do all their Christmas shopping, then go to the pub nice and early and stay til closing time, then try and wrap the presents at 3am only to discover they don't have any cellotape.

TP / Gramuel - take a look at train schedules from 3 pm on Christmas Eve.

Yep. That's a better reason than mine.

Are they worse than on Boxing Day?

Had a little look on Google and couldn't find anything other than early finish on some services (like 9:30 pm).

Christmas eve never been a normal working day either. 2/3 years ago my employer refused to give me Xmas eve or any other holidays over Xmas apart from the statutory days......took 2 weeks off on the sick just to spite the miserable ****s.

So it seems as if there's a story going round that the football league deliberately schedule bastard away trips for midweek in order to inflate weekend attendances, which is idiocy of the highest order. I will go to home games regardless of date (except boxing day because no trains, bastard) and will go to local midweek games. I'd have gone to Cardiff at a weekend but not on the Tuesday night it was scheduled for
