Wouldn't actually mind a deep run again in this with a lot of these young guys getting pitch time.

Always been a fan of the League Cup. One of my early memories of watching Utd was when Dalian Atkinson and Dean Saunders ripped us a new one at Wembley in the Final against Villa. Brian Moore's commentary always sticks in my head for Atkinson's goal.

I have a betting question. Basically Manchester City 1.14 against Crystal Palace seems way way too short even if they are playing at home. Crystal Palace at 6.00 to win/draw has to be a steal.

Thoughts on that?

If it's City reserves Vs Palace main team you might be on to something but it's almost more likely to be the other way round.

Very short for a pl match but one you feel like a tit for laying when it's 3-0 after 15mins.

Too early to be betting on Palace. Plus away to the best team in the league.

Once Woy gets some organisation and confidence back it may be worth a punt laying city.

Unless of course you think that’s already happened and they are ready to bus it up for 90 and be able to counter without Zahas pace and dominate set plays.

It's pretty much the same price as backing Crystal Palace +5. Know which one I would back.

We've signed Anders Lindegaard.

He always seemed fairly decent but just didn’t get any sort of run in the team what so ever. Probably had the same issue at WBA with Foster

Doubt he’ll get a game at Burnley either when all are fit.

Yeah, he's just signed until the end of the season to sit on the bench and provide competition for Pope due to Heaton's injury. Not sure why we signed the bloke from Birmingham in the summer.

It's one of those where you wonder how high a score IDKTS will accept, on the BBC one I got up to 17 before I got bored
