Yes, but we continue to not play him OR spend the money we would raise from his sale.

Clearly Jay Rod was the heart of the dressing room feelgood.

On a day when Roy hodgson comes back to the premier league, thread is bashing klopp and Rodgers. Then you all moan when Burnley v Brighton and Brom v Stoke are the televised games. Go **** yourselves, don't deserve to watch us.

Few things here, Celtic were nothing but a shadow of what they should have been and Souness huns were financially doped out of their eyeballs (with other people's money obviously).

Apart from that, you're spot on.

Super Grunch but Bubble Bobble was elite.

Only way I will ever get back in gaming is thru retro stuff (like the Crash Bandicoot remake)

Burnley v Brighton hasn't been televised since November 2015.

I don't recall many plop fans rejoicing in how lucky they were that season

Crystal Palace were already considering replacing manager Frank de Boer two weeks before he was eventually sacked.

De Boer, 47, met with Palace chairman Steve Parish and sporting director Dougie Freedman on Monday, 28 August.

Parish and Freedman left that meeting very underwhelmed and with no confidence that the Dutchman was the right man to turn Palace's fortunes around.
Be lucky to get a job now!

I stand corrected there Marty. I was working purely from a hazy memory.
Of course, looking back, it was because the English teams were out of Europe and he got Chris Woods, Terry Butcher, Gary Stevens, Trevor Steven and Mark Hately to join him.
That was quite a team when you added in Richard Gough, Ian Durrant and Davie Cooper, plus others I can't think of right now.

What made Parish and Freedman change their mind? These two hired the bloke, they have probably cost Palace a fortune.

I think it was more that Freedman told him to sack him. Parish seems to be easily influenced by others and doesn't seem to have his own mind or opinion.
He's happy to go on TalkSport to try and sell himself as a great guy, but he's not a football man. He was persuaded by the idea of a De Boer project by others and never really thought it through himself.

I think Parish doesn't understand that most Palace fans think Freedman's a tit. (according to a Palace season ticket holder I know)
