Clear red card, we know Mane is not looking to injure him and is going for the ball but that's besides the point, nobody is going in with the intention of injuring the goalkeeper. He's going for the ball, once he misses it and hits the goalkeeper in the chest/face with his boot well that's unlucky but you deserve to go off.
Particularly a bit confused because everyone seemed to be siding with the ref decision on Cahill red card, this is the same prevention principle really, it's harsh if you judge by intention but the point is to try to prevent what exactly happened. Mane should try to catch the ball next time he goes flying in like that
It's a totally different scenario than the Cahill one.
I don't understand the that's unlucky but you deserve to go off attitude. Makes zero sense to me. What do you think the purpose of red cards are? To punish unlucky players?
I am with OAFK here, if that's a red by the rules then the rules are wrong imo. It's hard not be results orientated but this isn't a Schumacher moment.
