Whilst this is somewhat exaggerating it's got a bit of truth. Plus I think with Lindelof and Lukaku we are a hair stronger personnel wise and I expect us to make a few more signings tbh. 10/3 still seems a bit short mind you but I think we should be 3rd favourites right now after Chelsea/City.

I expect two more. A DM and an AM of some sort.

Chelsea currently don't have an elite striker and start the season without Hazard. Arsenal looks likely to be the biggest market mover providing Sanchez stays.

Moderately interesting piece on pre season training from one of our ex-players, if only for the "Jose Baxter is to running as Eddie the Eagle was to skiing" comment

just had a look through some of his articles, quite interesting and well-written for a footballer. Some great lines and anecdotes sprinkled in occasionally

Is the market pricing in the fact that we can now bench Cahill?

That is hooooge.

It's definitely Cahill dropping out then and not shifting Azpi over to RWB and benching Moses?

lol

I mean nothing is definite but hopefully yes we are benching by far the weakest link in the chain and not moving Dave from a position he was massively effective in,to a position that requires a skill set he simply does not have ( in 343).

Azpi is not really meant to be spending that much time in opposition final third.

Think it's between Arse, Stoke, and Spurs for the best words on that list.

Nazio lol.

That's true, but Edinburgh may be better for a foreigner making a short trip.

I've only ever been out in Glasgow when i've been at the football, so we just went with the flow really.

It really depends on what youre into, Edinburgh is way better for culture/tourism **** etc

You'll find good pubs in grassmarket, 3 sisters, biddys are a few good pubs there - have had a few beers with people from 2+2 in those pubs. Easy enough to get to the titty bars etc from there too just jump in a taxi and go to pubic triangle.

Aberdeen was great for a night out as well but haven't been in a couple of years, it's probably dead now due to oil crash, so would probably avoid at all cost. Simor is from there so will knowthe score up there better.

Decent walks and Nevis is easy if you're into that sort of thing, good land rover experiences in the forests in Perthshire.

Well worth doing if you have a spare day. Land Rovers are beast.

PM me with specifically what you want to do, see and who you're going with and i'll fire you some suggestions.

lolno.

EDB is better for castles/historic ruins/Arthur's Seat=park in the city/&Scottish beach such as it is.

GLA is much much much better for culture, be it theatre, live music, clubs, galleries (tho' admittedly the new town in EDB has ~comparable gallaries) and even museums (since what you get in GLA is more distinctive - particularly around Mackintosh - than what you get in EDB).
