Bought ties for the groomsmen to wear and custom made beer steins from a local artist. Got a couple engraved flasks, engraved Louisville slugger baseball bat, and other normal stuff

37 goals from inside the box by David Unsworth. 56 from Tim Cahill.

They should probably ignore penalties in that stat.

There are people actually arguing that schneiderlins tackle last night was deserving of a yellow? If thats the case just ban tackling. Absolute textbook.

The more and more prevalent timewasting has become with corners, subs, throwins, head injuries the more I warm to the proposal of stopping the clock when the ball is out of play.

Would much prefer refs just to add the time on and crackdown on timewasting though

I got a fancyish knife and a bottle of whiskey with a custom label for the two wedding parties I've been part of

Sigh...Vardy on the bench in the Milk Cup which confirms his appearance at Old Trafford on Saturday.

It was a good tackle, that wasn't a yellow, and Aguero is obviously a prick.

BUT

He gave the ref a decision (that he can easily get wrong) to make, and when he launches there's a fairly high % chance that something's bad will happen.

If you stop the clock, you also have to reduce the time of a match to 60mins, because that's what it is. No football match in history (over normal time) has ever got close to having the ball in play for 90 mins.

I do agree with the last part. But Ref's need to be more certain before sending people off and effecting games (that one changed little - but i don't think walkers was a yellow either).

Yeah i would love this. Reuce the games to 40 min a half.

And have the 4th official stop the clock. Would instantly stop timewasting through unecessary subs. No more fake injuries etc. Plus would improve the end game as everyone will know how much time is left etc.

Similar to what makes the end of eggball for example enthralling, because you know exactly how much time you have left and there is all the added strategy etc that goes with it depending on time remaining etc. Plus it's annoying as hell watching guys walk at a snails pace to take a throw in, then give it to the left back to take it and burn a min, whilst the ref adds 0 more time at the end of injury time.

At the very least they need to stop the clock for subs and injuries. Have no added time, and keep games the same length.

Stopping the clock would stop current system of timewasting but then there would have to be a rule for how long a team has to get the ball back into play. Then the "momentum stopping" will be even worse unless a team gets <10 seconds to restart. The ****ing about will be even worse than now imo.

Got a pair of cufflinks with initials engraved last time I was a groomsman LFC, was a nice touch.

There should be a rule where you get 10 seconds to take a throw in, or the other team gets it.
