Lambert wouldn't get in but did at least play in a Big Cup final
05-24-2018 , 02:48 PM
A few other decent players who managed in the Prem:

Brian Kidd won a European Cup.
Sammy Lee won two, as did Martin O'Neill
Phil Neale won 4!
Solskjaer would be decent off the bench
Frank de Boer was a far better player than manager
Jean Tigana anyone? 2ns in the Ballon d'Or in 84 and won the Euros.
Felix Magath won a European Cup, Cup Winners Cup and 3 Bundesligas
Brian Clough would pick himself and Trevor Francis
West Ham fans would have Billy Bonds first on the teamsheet

Phil Neale was a cricketer.

Karanka won the Champions League 3 times.

I was going to include him (and Gullit who was on the list above) but Im assuming some of those lolbrits were defensively strong CBs so I left him out because KOEMAN GUARDIOLA is enough playmaking from defense/midfield. Also I didnt want to appear too biased (because I am)

the memory of this miss is so vivid. I think he had similar ones. I think it was mostly due to being mentally not strong enough once he dropped off from the fantastic Plop form. I can't recall if he disappeared completely or not, but i do remember missing chances.

Lold at the poch pic and then the mourinho pic also. Thanks chaps.

Moratas pl record is identical to Suarez first season with us. Dude is good, Chelsea binning him early would please me greatly.

His xg/90 would have had him good for a 20+ season had he played the same games as Salah or Kane.

Probably not. I still suspect he might be a bit of a mental midget, but he's probably not lacking in the skills department.

Actually preferred him over Lukaku last summer and, like nic, would very much prefer he find his form in a different league next season.

I still rate Morata tbh, think he could do well in the PL as well. He was really useful, dare I say uderrated in the beginning of the season (maybe up until he struggled with injuries?). Then he fell off completely

It's good to see the board undermining him before he has even had a chance to get his feet under the desk. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/05/25...ario-husillos/

Gullit >> Koeman>>>Guardiola

Leaving Gullit out would indeed be ridiculous.

Are the dildo bros actually going to give Pellegrini some money to spend this summer, or is it going to be Demichelis out of retirement?

Well, David Gold says that we already have a good squad (narrator's voice: they didn't have a good squad) and we are leaking that our budget is "flexible". I assume this means it is flexible downwards, we'll give you what would have been a lot of money to spend in 1998 terms, get your Spanish contacts to dig up some whizzy foreigners and if we are still short on the last day of the window the chairman will assist with a couple of Sullivan specials.

So its a reverse of their managerial skills then?

I dont think Morata is a mental midget I just dont think he has the psyche of a natural competitor and sportsman, obviously I dont put massive stock in that opinion, Im not putting it up there with 1+1=2 but its the theory I hold as most likely to be der true.

Conte said that Morata was the kind of guy he would like to marry his daughter, e.g. a nice sensible chap.

I just dont think he has the FU IM SCORING mentality.

Sure he has bags of talent and will score goals, great goals even, but I dont see him winning many games for us when the rest of the team is playing **** ala Drogs and Costa.

Some rumours of Wilshere on a free, which I'm sure you're delighted about..

Such a horrible Saturday last week was

1. United lost
2. Armagh lost
3. I got married
05-25-2018 , 05:15 PM
In before Emery decides Welbeck is surplus to requirements, Sullivan buys thinking he's getting Aubameyang
