Them's the rules these days though. Hendrick was sent off for a similar one at Watford last season.

I can see it being given as a yellow in most games and not being a huge after game talking point but I think a red is justifiable all the same.

it was an orange card

but this dickhead took a harsh view of everything Chelsea and a lenient view of everything Bumley

annoying, and i'd prefer not to ever see him again

Damn not sure I've ever seen 72o rustled but here we are 8 hours later still fuming

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. The homerness is amazingly strong in this one.

i mean, he booked Cesc for clapping, and let at least 3 lolobv Bumley bookings go without even a word

but yeah sure whatever

best of luck achieving anything this year bruh
08-12-2017 , 11:50 PM
You mean he booked Cesc for a bookable offense? Also Cesc could have seen straight red fwiw.

Not sure which Burnley bookings you're referring to, but it is LOL to think that you were hard done by.

What do you mean by "best of luck achieving anything this year bruh"? Didn't think this was about me tbh.

I don't think I understand the rules in their entirety anymore so can't really comment on whether I think it's a red or not. Instinctively think it's harsh (as I did with pedro's last week) but maybe I'm old fashioned these days.... Anyway without cahill we're good enough to win the game and just some run bad. Nice to see Morata score and assist - batshuayi fills me with no confidence (yea his minutes to goal ratio is excellent on the tiniest of samples but doesn't seem to have much in his game). Congrats TP. Gonna suck with the possibility of having zero points after spuds next week. Positive though: Cahill out.

The Rudiger booking was harsh, I'll give you that.

Just watched MOTD. Damn what an amazing day of football! Def rooting for HUDDERSFIELD and Brighton to stay up. I like Brighton's kits. Results have made me quite anxious (if I wasn't already) about spurs newcastle tonight though.

I think the Cahill one is up for debate.

Fabregas/Pedro. If you slide in studs up when on a yellow you are pretty much asking to get sent off. You can get the second yellow based on the intent only.

This is just a horrible tackle from behind and deserves a straight red.

go burnley
08-13-2017 , 01:10 AM
Yea the pedro one looks a red there. Anyway don't think cahill needs to get himself in that spot in that area of the pitch and risk disaster. Also think cahill is a good defender but maybe against the best opposition he sometimes struggles so not worst loss. Hopefully moses will be back for next sun.

I'm going next Sunday (flight lands Saturday am, massive family catch up all day and then try to sleep to get in shape for a full day of getting bang on it and watching Spurs).

Cannot wait. Haven't been to a competitive Spurs game since 2011.
08-13-2017 , 01:51 AM
Have a good trip and plenty of tears after the game
08-13-2017 , 01:53 AM
Spurs have had a competitive game?

While I do agree I think Conte sees Cahill as a key player in his defense. I'm not even sure he would be the 1st to sit on the bench if Chelsea would sign van Dijk for example. Or am I way off about this one?
08-13-2017 , 02:19 AM
could be wrong but i doubt Conte rates Cahill

lol

Chelsea were lucky they didn't finish the game with seven men. You could easily make a case that Luiz and Alonso should have been sent off.
