Chelsea are not good.
The Arsenal away form would get any manager in the world fired. Second best in the league at home, 16th away.

It seems like fate, especially since Chelsea are the masters of jammy luck.

This has been kind of a roller coaster of a season. Expectations were not high yet again, with der markt skeptical of our top four chances as always (lol markt). We didn't start too well in the league, but crushed CL groups. Then we went on a pretty amazing tear until we choked away the tie against Juve. Now we limp in to the finish, but will most likely get 3rd anyway, which is clearly better than expected itl. And no cup trophies which is disappointing but not too surprising. It does look like we've got the golden boot winner though.

I missed the second half (the interesting part); can’t really be too upset - spurs and liverpool are better and we’re lacking offensively as pointed out. I don’t think we’re as mediocre as 2018 results might suggest. Still the cup final against united to look forward to and nice send off for conte.

A cup would have been nice but CL football in the new stadium is massive, and the third year in a row will help LevyGOAT with the new stadium commercial deals.

Handle this take with care or you may get burned: based on half-watching about 60 minutes of Maitland-Niles at Arsenal, I think he's going to be a good player.

these german managerial types seem a bit uh dramatic. crap team survives relegation by scraping 37 points, better get the pope in to authenticate this miracle

we'll have saint wagner on our hands if they survive into 2020

In terms of mentality he is the Anti-Terry.

I dont want the Anti Terry playing for our club.
No he wouldn't. He's terrible

He's regressed so much that I doubt he'll even stand out in the MLS.

That was shortlived

Carlos Soundbiteo leaving Swansea at the end of the season.

finally fulfilling his childhood dream of playing for dc united

300k/week apparently. most of it paid by mun, 50k of it paid by everton and the rest by his new club

Clearly couldn't handle managing a squad worth more than twenty pounds

How is United still stuck paying him?
05-10-2018 , 10:44 AM
b/c he signed a five and a half year contract with them in 2014 worth 300k/week. reason he okayed the move to everton is cos mun agreed to pay the balance until the mun contract end date

(it was always (legitimately) his childhood dream to play for everton, but evidently that dream did not involve taking a pay cut at any point along the way)

Three hundred large a week, and he signed the contract when he was already in decline. Well played Paul Stretford.

Holloway's lost another job, this time at QPR. Steve McClaren favourite to replace him.

It's just one big ****ing managerial merry go round isn't it. I suspect Pardew's waiting for the phone to ring.

Happy with the League 3rd, but the FA Cup loss to Utd. and the Juve Champions loss were beyond bad.

Lol Poch and some of the players interviewed after the game yesterday, blaming Wembley as '19 additional away games'..I don't have Spurs home record in front of me, but it was pretty damn good..
05-10-2018 , 03:35 PM
Ofc Spurs were better at "home" as it was effectively an away game for both teams.

United are so awful to watch. Games at Olympic stadium are so awful to watch. AIDS
