btw the perception that taking on celtic = impossible right now is not confined to this forum. ppl not gonna hold it against him if he finishes 2nd for a few years
This isn’t true. You have no idea how unrealistic Rangers fans are when it comes to old firm rivalry.

but rangers fans play little part in his future job opportunities, in the same way that everton blokes moaning about the fattest of sams means 0: he'll still have his pick of bottom third of the table clubs come december time

Warburton was a pretty highly rated manager in England at the time he took the Rangers job and did about as well with them as could have been expected. He was still hounded out because surprisingly Rangers were miles behind a Celtic side that won like 56/60 points in the first half of the season. Can’t buy a job now.

Gerrard at Rangers guarantees drama and entertainment, everybody wins imo.

Except Rangers and Gerrard

I just don't think this is true. Gerrard doesn't come up smelling of roses then no one cares and no one wants to employ him. If he closes the gap and wins some cups that would be a big achievement bit south of the border no one will care if he doesn't win a league. He's on a hiding to nothing. Best case scenario teams will still be meh at best about hiring him.

Neville has just been interviewing some Manc fans about how their season has been. They seem relatively happy with it. More impressive was their accents being pretty much exclusively non-Mancunian.
05-04-2018 , 02:44 PM
best case scenario is he happens to sign whoever the scottish equivalent of vardy is for £250k, wins the league, and is a confirmed genius

i mean the trick of management as we all ought know by now is to have the highest budget in the land. can do worse than rangers in that respect. much better chances of being a genius at rangers than than with some upper/mid budget team in league 1 or whatever, which i expect is stevie's alternative

Ashley Young is skipper. I would like to get Roy Keane's view on this.

When you get done singing your song remember Rangers are to Celtic what Celtic are to Europe

Mentally José has already sold Rashford to Everton.

by most metrics, it's been an extremely successful season. But, the first half is why it has a weird feeling about the season. There is a lot more this team can show and there is a bit of dread on the distinct possibility of him letting Martial go

Dunno about extremely succesful but it's been more than acceptable results wise. Shame about the garbage football though.

Lovely stat on screen there.
Most goals scored by substitutes this season.
Man Utd 12
Man City 9
West Ham 8

Many would argue that shows Jose and Pep have the skills to innovate.
It could also show Moyes is rubbish at picking a starting XI.

Seems good to me. If they continue to fail, nobody’s really gonna point the finger at Stevie G, and if by some small chance one of the Liverpool youths people seem to think he’s automatically going to be able to sign turns out to be decently good, then that should catapult him right into a PL job.

Oh look were about to lose to all three promoted sides

What an amazing season
05-04-2018 , 04:43 PM
Just bet on mun to get something out of the game so yes, all the promoted sides are beating you
05-04-2018 , 04:44 PM
lolgaard
05-04-2018 , 04:54 PM
We are so ****ing bad. The fact we will finish second is an embarrassment to the league.
05-04-2018 , 04:56 PM
Just bin everyone that started today except for DDG, Martial and Rashford
