Amazing. Keeping him will really help bridge that 15 point gap to the champions next season.

I'd really love us to go down this season. It is a worthwhile sacrifice to make the Spunk Brothers poorer.

Reminds me of the Sunderland fans saying they were glad to finally go down last year so they could get rid of the dead weight, rebuild and come back up. Worked well...

I don't give a **** about coming back up. I just care about tanking the value of their precious investment, and the humiliation that a half-empty "world class" stadium is going to bring them when we are on TV on week in every three. Getting out of that division is much harder now than it was the last time we were in it IMO, which will make it even more delicious.

So Gerrard to the Huns, is there anyone who thinks this is a good move (excluding fans of other scottish teams of course)

I can't see how it is going to work out well. He is going to be asked to close a gap of 13 points to their nearest and dearest at the top of the table with (at a guess) a transfer budget of not very much. Add to that him having no managerial experience and not appearing (at least to me) to have many of the characteristics that you would want a young manager to have, I don't see it working out. I can't see a couple of useful kids on loan from Liverpool as being enough to make them a rival to a Celtic side that have been tea-bagging the league unopposed for however many years.

What's this bust up all about Ploppers?

Jurgen Klopp's assistant manager Zeljko Buvac 'spending time away' from club

They didn't have much hesitation in banning Tarkowski for an incident similar to Hegazi.

They were obviously too busy writing their statement condemning Burnley fans for booing on Saturday to bother with any potential violent conduct charges.

Is Gerrard good enough to get playing minutes for Rangers?

They have been consistent in failing to punish two clear red card offences.

One of the best goals of all time, that.

Kane looks bad. Body language doesn't look great either.
