Mane out for the rest of the season.

**** off.

How the **** does it cost a billion to build a stadium?

He'll play the next game against Roma.

"When a scouser tells me it's (fried) chicken, I check under the ketchup to make sure". Or something.

Lol you might be right. Seems a blue tick's been tricked by an old article.

Still appears to be injured though, just maybe not out for the season.

He's not injured. You've been trolled

The principle of the thing though. I get pissed off enough at sponsor named stadiums.

Re Wembley.

Wembley cost £800m to build which is now equiv to over a billion.
Khan is offering 900m which is made up of 600m for the stadium and then allowing the FA to keep the Club Wembley business which he arbitrarily values at £300m
If you ask me, £300m is a massive overvaluation of a business that he doesn't appear to want and £600m is a massive undervaluation of something that he does want.

Khan is a multi-billionaire businessman for a reason. Seller beware, especially when you're going to be expected to hand back a large chunk of that £600m to the lottery that funded a huge amount of the original cost.

Good point but at least they get **** done, unlike the Berlin airport or a few kms of a subway line in Cologne which I'd love to use!

Holy **** oddschecker's redesign looks ****ing awful

At £600m I don't know why Chelsea don't just buy it.

Spurs ground is reportedly going to run up a bill of £800m, so £600m seems cheap.

If the FA sell Wembley, will they drop the cost of the UEFA Pro licence from 9 grand to closer to the £1k Germany and Spain charge?

No, they'll go for some ace lunches at Scott's and other good restaurants. Addressing concerns regarding coaching and the general fabric of the English game is not something they can prioritise.

£600m for a patch of ground in London with a world class stadia that holds 90k people.

One good thing that might come from this is semi finals being played elsewhere.

As part fo the deal - as always with these sort of deals - how much do the FA have to pay for each game England, Cup, plays offs games etc

Khan must be loving this.

I can only imagine that Khan is going to tie the FA in to holding the semi finals there.

Wasn't one of the main arguments against the FA spending £900m on rebuilding Wembley that the money would be better spent on grassroots football?
04-27-2018 , 06:23 AM
Scotty Arfield off to Rangers and Dean Marney leaving at the end of the season (probably to Forest).

Huge part of our recent success and they'll both be missed. Arfield in particular scored some important goals including a winning goal at Ewood.

The FA didn't spend all of that. Much came from public money and lottery funding. Which makes it all the more galling they'd try to sell it. I wonder would they have to pay back that money? In which case there might be little left. Also spending that money on grassroots football would be akin to spending an extra £350m a week on the NHS.

Too lazy to fix properly but one of the most outrageous goals I have seen in a long time.

Aussies have a ****** USA playoff system and this was the semifinal

Jose Mourinho says @ManUtd would probably have won the Europa League if they had been in it.
take the probably woulda won the europa league trophy and add it to the possible fa cup trophy, and then add the delayed man city's title celebration for a week trophy which is already in the bag = there's another treble on the cards for jose

So Yanklandians.

My son has Cystic Fibrosis.

Bummer right?

Not so bummer is that a charity has just given my son (and family) an all expenses paid trip to Disney Land, including accommodation in a villa, 3 day pass to DL, 2 day pass to Universal and one day pass to Sea World. Also my son is to be given a special badge which allows us to go to the front of all ques.

So the question is we can go in June or September realistically, so which time would be best?

Have seven days and am trying to minimise chances of rain stopping play etc, also Kanes, dont want any Kanes.

Not a yanklander but I was at the universal studios Florida in November14 and it was hella busy even then. I can’t imagine what the parks would be like in peak season. I know you have the q jumps but I can’t imagine it being very comfortable even walking around the park with that many people there.

I’m also Scottish so would probably catch fire in Florida in the summer but you guys might be ok.

Also seen rangers have gerrard on their shortlist. Would be a terrible choice for him for his first job.
